Don't forget the ice cream too! My local doggie bakery makes ice cream with yogurt and fresh berries and yogurt and peanut butter. |
Here is a cake recipe that Bren on here gave me. I'm making it Saturday for Maddie, Lillie, and Hailee's birthday party. I'm making them each a small cake. I'm gonna add a few strawberries to the cottage cheese and blend to make the icing pink. Here is the link...Hope this helps. http://www.ljcfyi.com/ljcsProjects/cooking/dogCake.html |

Here are some recipes I found from other threads!! http://www.party-photo-favors.com/do...ke_recipes.htm http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...43&postcount=1 http://www.ljcfyi.com/ljcsProjects/cooking/dogCake.html 4 cups oat bran 2 1/2 cups unbleached flour 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1 egg 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (the kind that has to be kept in the fridge,) 2 1/2 cups buttermilk. (I just posted a recipe for doggie cake, but here is another really good Kennel cakes that's easy and they love it.) preheat oven to 375 degrees. mix oat bran, flour and baking soda in a large bowl. Add egg, oil, honey, peanut butter and buttermilk and stir. (buttermilk powder can be bought in a can. This way it lasts a very long time.) Fill a greased muffin tin so that cups ar two-thirds full and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center. Serve when cooled and store in a sealed container. Here is a recipie for doggie frosting.... For the Frosting 8 oz Neufchatel Cheese (lowfat cream cheese) 2 tablespoons plain yogurt 2 tablespoons honey 2-3 tablespoons flour grated carrots I found it on this page http://www.twodogpress.com/dogfood.html |

Holy smokes ya'll do a lot of baking for your pups. Thats cool. I know at Target they are having sales on their Three Dog Bakery products. Incase anyone is close to one and wants to cheat on the baking part. |
Happy early b-day Rocky! Thanks for the tip on the doggy ice cream Angela! I had no idea that Walmart stocked it. I wish I was closer to a Target. I LOVE how much dog stuff they have! |
