she seems big to me... I took my Pebbles to the vet today for her shots and the vet said she doesnt look like shell get any bigger than 5 pounds, but shes already 3.8 pounds and is only 3 1/2 months old. how old are they when they stop growing? |
I'm not sure. I guess I haven't thought about when they stop growing? I do know that Zoey was maybe that size, or a little over about then. She's 7 months old and about 6 lbs now. But Bentley was smaller he was 3 and 1/2 at 7 months. He is a 14 months now and he weighs 4lbs. |
Most of my puppies stop to grow at 6 to 8 months old . |
Peeka stopped growing about 6 months and now is 4 lbs 4 ozs. Daisy is almost 20weeks(5 months) and she hasn't grown any in 6 weeks she is 2 lbs 10 ozs:eek: i hope i can get her to 4 lbs |
Some of them grow until they're 18 mos or a little more. It just depends on the puppy. |
I asked my vet that question last week. He said they usually stop between 6 - 8 months. |

My vet thinks Bobbi is full grown at almost 8 months. He hasn't gained weight since his last visit. He does have very petite features and parents.......but only time will tell. My boy was 3lbs at 12 weeks and is 3lbs 14 oz at almost 8 months. So far the chart has been off |
Wrigley was 1.13lbs at 12 weeks, 3.09lbs at 6 months and is now 4.02lbs at 8 months. She's been really sick the past week though, so she's probably 4 instead of 4.02 :) The vet said don't expect her to get too much bigger, we are happy she reached 4! |
