I think Rocky may have bad manners! I did do a quick search to try to find my answer my question, but I couldn't find anything. So, hopefully, this is not something previously addressed. Question....does your baby burp? Rocky actually belches outloud. His tummy makes some gurgle noises sometimes, too. Just wondering if anyone else has a rude puppy and if this is normal? He is going to the vet this week for his boosters, so I am going to ask her about it, but since I have gotten so many great answers from all of you Yorkie geniuses, I decided to try here first. lol :) Thanks! |
Memphis will go chow down and then come running in all happy, jump up on my lap and BUUUUUUURRRRPPPP right in my face. |
Both Simon and Hallie burp and sometimes I swear Hallie burps like a man! It is the only time she is not a princess ;) Simon's tummy makes funny noises too. |
My babies burp, hiccup, have loud gurgling stomaches and have the weirdest notion that I want them to fart on me then when I realize the stinkies make I look at them and they look at me like what? I didn't do that. I swear if they could they would whistle and look away. |
Oh when Memphis has stinky butt it is obvious. Not only because of the smell but also because everytime he lets one fly he will jump up and look at his butt, smell the air and then run like hell outta the room. |

I just realized I'm talking about this in public ;) and I know that you all understand completely!!! This is why I love it here! |
I was telling one of my friends about this very same thing the other day and she just looked at me and said "That is really like discusting, you know that right??" And I looked at her and told her that I found the fact that her son throwing up hotdogs all night was really gross too. LOL |
I have never noticed Lily burping before. It sounds like it is common though. My big dogs have no manners and do so all the time though. |

You need to capture that on video and send it in to America's Funniest Videos! That fart could be worth 10 grand *grin* |
little piggy Yup...my Syd has always been a beltcher. No matter what she eats...it is always followed by a loud and very un-ladylike burp. Even if it is just a drink of water. We think it's adorable...plus that is how we know when she is done with her dinner. :D |

Could you imagine the humiliation our babies would feel if they knew we were telling the world of their imperfections lol |

Biddy would kill me!! LOL - she's such a princess!! She'd be so embarrassed!!! |
LOL mine would too. They'd be like "oh..and YOU'RE so perfect?" lol |
Thank God they can't talk!! I can't imagine the dirt they'd dish on me!! LOL |
Both of mine burp...but Silk is the worst. You can count on her to give a BIG belch everytime. Chris |
With Maggie, I can always tell if it's going to be a good or bad day, if her tummy gurgles in the morning. She will either have a wet burp up day or the farts that turn the air green. And today is one of those days!!! |
I'm in the same boat as Biddy's Mom, Toby likes to use every part of his body to express himself. When sleeping soundly as I attempt to watch tv, he briefly pauses his deafening snoring to break wind, then he wags his little tail as if to make sure he wafts away from his vicinity. And being a guy it still makes me laugh! :D |

Thank Goodness for YT! So Josie's not weird! :D This is a big relief ;) Josie will come in from jogging laps and run up the stairs drink all her water and jump on my lap just to give a big BURP in my face  ( That's my girl) :yelrotflm |
Charlie burps and gets the hiccups almost every time he eats. I read it was because puppies eat so fast they end up swallowing a lot of air... hence... the need to expel it. :) It scared me at first.. (the hiccups) but i'm used to it now and i think when he stops being such a pig when he eats they'll go away. :aimeeyork |
How funny! All of these stories crack me up! And they make me feel better...glad to know that Rocky isn't alone in his poor manners! lol |
OMG, this thread is cracking me up! Leila is a belcher. I had never heard a dog burp before I got her, but after she is done eating she always lets out a loud manly belch! It's kinda funny. As far as the other end, she is a fan of the "silent slider". You don't know about it until you smell it, and she is always very nonchalant about it. Now Gidget, I have never heard her break wind either way. You aren't going to believe this though.... until TONIGHT! I was holding her in my arms and I heard this small sound come from somewhere. I was like, what was that? I ignored it. Then, as I was reading this thread, I heard it again, a little louder and longer this time. She turns her head toward her butt like she is looking for the source of the sound! Little booger was pooting on me!!!! And her timing was impeccable! |
