Guillotine, Pliers, Scissors? Morning Everyone, Can you please tell me what type of nail clippers would be the most useful and easy to use for clipping my Yorkies nails? Guillotine, Pliers or Scissors? Looking forward to hearing from you all! Love, Isil :) |
These are the ones I am using: http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...N=2025567&Ne=2 They are actually for cats but just right for little Yorkie toenails. They also have a nice guard so you can't cut off too much. |
I use the same ones as above but for dogs. I have a couple of large dogs so I don't need two kinds. |
I got mine at petsmart too it called the groomax deluxe nail clipper for petit dogs, and also have the nail guard to prevent overcutting:thumbup: |
I use the same ones from Petsmart. I heard somewhere that you shouldn't use the guillotine type. I think they said it can split the nails or something. I don't know if it is true. |
