Yorkie in air vent! Okay ... here is the story of one of Ludo's many adventures. This weekend I went back home so he could go to the vet. The night was going fine.. I was looking at old pictures .. I could here our chihuaha and Ludo playing in the living room ... then all of a sudden it was really really quiet  I asked my boyfriend if he had seen Ludo and he told me to go look in the kitchen ... I looked everywhere in every room -- underneath everything! I was FREAKING OUT. My chihuaha was sitting in her chair and I was asking if she knew where Ludo was .. when all of a sudden I hear my little baby crying. He was in the living room -- okay looked under the couch, both chairs, under the tv stand EVERYTHING. I couldnt see him!! I could hear him crying but I couldnt find him. I am still FREAKING OUT. I look under the huge tv stand again and there I see it -- one of the covers is off of the floor vent and THATS WHERE LUDO WAS. The tv and tv stand .. with all the speakers and electronics were too heavy too move and by that time Ludo had stopped crying so I thought something was wrong :( In the end we had to pick up the heavy tv put everything on the floor and we could finally move the stand -- and there was my little guy down in the vent ... I swear he has nine lives:rolleyes: Oh and he is A-OK! |
OMG Nothing is safe with those little guys. Glad to hear he's none the worse for wear. By the way, my daughter graduated from Baylor:) |
Oh, my goodness! What an adventurer Ludo is! Glad you were able to find him and get him out! |
Scary!! The things they get themselves into!! |
Yeah! Ludo is ok! I am sitting here thinking about all of the "what-if's". Very scary! |
OMG what a story. I would have been freaking out too. I'm glad he was OK sometimes those vents can be really sharp. |

Yeah I was thinking all the what-ifs too .. I don't know if there was like a tunnel in there he could have possibly crawled into and gotten stuck -- i am so glad he is safe now. My mom swears the jealous chihuaha him where the hole was lol. Oh and just so everyone knows I gladly put the cover back over the vent! |
OMG you must have been freaking out! I have "misplaced" Truffles once and I went into a panic running all over the house...found her in my closet - lol! Glad Ludo has nine lives!! |
:2omg: So glad that Ludo the explorer is fine:animal37 |
they can really get into some messes. I was bathing Ceeby a couple of days ago in the kitchen sink where the sprayer is and that little stinker got one of his toenails hooked under some way in the drain and his paw was stuck. I was freaking out and finally he relaxed his "toe hold" and I was able to get him out. |
I couldn't resist sharing this. A few years ago we had a dachshund and one day we were sitting on the sofa and she was with us. We got involved in whatever we were doing and later noticed that she was no longer there. So we started calling her name and she barked but didn't come. We started looking all around the sofa but couldn't find her. Finally, we figured out that she was INSIDE the sofa! She must have found a small hole in the lining under the cushions and made it big enough to squeeze herself in (dachshunds are burrowing animals). Needless to say we had to make the hole bigger to get her out!:yelrotflm |
I definitely need to be careful when Ludo goes under the couch then! :rollingey These crazy crazy puppies! |
those are some scary stories.. i would be so scared.. oh boy |
