Hello all! I'm new to this website and I just want to say Hello and I just purchased my first Yorkie. He is a male and is quite fiesty! Any advice on how to show him who is boss before he gets too out of control, lol. |
:welcome4: You need to post CoCoa's pic in the thread so we can see it. I saw that you have it on your profile page. But we like to gauk (sp?) over adorable babies like him... :) As far as training you can always do the PetSmart puppy classes. There is a thread on here right now about that, seems most people really liked it. Others may have more... home remedy advise for you.. Welcome and He is a cutie.... Angi |
Welcome to YT. I can't wait to see pictures. |
:welcome4: !!! Wanta see pictures :) |
i REALLY recommend Petsmart training classes to let him know who is boss :) also simple things like not letting him be in the same room as you when you eat... or making sure he walks next to you when on leash... we are in the middle of trying to remind layla who is boss aswell :) |
Congrats on your first Yorkie! They are quite addicting. lol! The "fiestiness" could just be because he's still a puppy, but as long as you are consistent, he'll learn who's boss. Good luck and welcome to YT. :welcome4: You'll find tons of helpful information and really nice people here! |
Welcome to YT!! Can't wait to see pics of your little one. I am sorry to say, I don't have any advice, the pups are bosses in our house! :p |
