Heres some pictures of the fact that ear tape works to get the ears to stand......My avatar is before, then the one with the tape and todays after shot with the ears up (alittle red from the tape but they are up). He's 8 mths and 2 days old, so for those of you who have questions about them being too old for their ears to stand its not too late before 10 mths as long as you tape, shave and give it time. I hope this helps anyone who has or will have questions about getting the pups ears to stand. :thumbup: :thumbup:

hi just wondering how long did you leave tape on? I'm also taping my 14 mos old ears. She's only had tape on for 2 days I will be removing today when she gets her bath-bath.

3 days taped then rest 1 day for air flow then 3 days on again till they stand.. repeat as necessary.

I should trim the side of the ears cause they arent straight but for now I dont wanna bother my boy anymore to get the edges better..I will fix them later. Thx for the compliment!! I hope this helps others with their pups ears...

I keep taping Betty's ears...now one is up and one is down. Every time I get the tape on them, she pulls it off in in hour or so. I don't know how you manage to keep it on for 3 days. I am using the medical type tape that does not stick too hard so it doesn't pull her hair off and hurt her when I remove it. What exactly is the type you guys use? Thanks.

Shave the ears of all hair first, then I used medical tape.

I was having same problem till I read on a post here about taping with Nexcare tape I found it @ rite aid. It's not the smooth kind it's the one with ridges. The only problem is that I can only remove it when wet because it sticks really good. Once it's wet it comes off easily.

How old is your baby? I've done it on bubbles and one side stands while the other flops down again. He's two.

I'm going to get some tape and try Zoey's ears. They act like they want to stand but in a second , they flop back down. I think if I start taping them , i'll have some success. I'm just worried about her keeping the tape on. She hates it. :(

My boy is alittle over 8 mths. Well 2 is pretty late to be honest, but you can always try it. Ya never know and its not gonna hurt anything to go ahead and try it. I left his tape on for 3 days on and off 1 day then tape 3 days on again etc. I have actually heard from a lady who has been breeding for over 30 years that she has actually left the tape on for a week at a time. So If you really want his ears up, why not try it.
