Roscoe, Mocha or Wellington?
 
Hey Everyone,

I am getting my Yorkie puppy in April 4th and I need votes for the name. I am in between naming him either Roscoe or Mocha but my boyfriend says he will leave the house (he probably does not mean it but he is like that) if I go with Mocha. He thinks the best name would be Wellington because this puppy is a Yorkie and Wellington sounds pretty British and funny.

Now, I need advise and suggestions on naming my baby boy:

-Mocha Moose
-Mocha
-Roscoe
-Wellington
-Twinky

Any other suggestions?

I gotta say I really like the name Wellington! I like the british-sounding names...I named my little guy Tetley!

i'm sorry.. gotta go with the bf.. LOVE wellington... but you'll have to come up with a short form.. that is a mouthful! but i think it has SO much personality...

i like wellington too,, but its kinda long.. i like 2 syllable names..
roscoe is nice too..

Wellington:aimeeyork is great! (His nickname could be "Beef."):)

And it's funny that you have "Moose" as part of one of your other choices. We call Ozzie "Moose" because when he was a puppy, I thought we were going to have the first 40-pound Yorkie. Luckily, he stopped at 13.5!

I have a chihuahua named Mookie, and I call him Mooka. (I know it's not Mocha but it's simila to Mocha) I do feel it is kinda girly but it fits his cute little face!! I was going to name him Rosco also. So I'll have to vote for Roscoe!!

sorry going with the BF love Wellington can call him welli for short and when he poops you can call him smelli wellie ha ha dont mind me to much cafeene today but love Wellington for sure!

You could call Wellington "Wells" in the same way that the royal family calls Prince William "Wills."

Wellington! That's a great name...Like others said, you'd have to find a nickname, but that's more unique, I think.

Wellington is really cute - but it IS kinda long :rolleyes: I think Twinkie is PRECIOUS! :D lol. Especially for a little dog ;) :p

I think I set my mind on Roscoe over all the other two names but as I said previously, I still have a month to finalize my decision...I will keep you guys informed...I also posted my future yorkie's first picture on my profile, hope you guys like it!

Thanks for all your great votes! After a long time of creative thinking, my boyfriend and I decided to name the puppy Princeton Roscoe. Only 1 more month you guys! So exciting :)
