Meet Sidecar Barney!
 
Hey everyone! It's Jamie from FluffyButts again! I would like you to meet one of the latest rescues Sidecar Barney. Barney was a puppymill kid that I just got about a week ago. He is still scared, but really likes being loved on once he is caught. He is very, very cute and unlike some mill kids will come around quickly. Also please check out Pudge! He is a Yorkie/Pom mix that is super cute and friendly. I picked him up as an owner surrender. His parents (dad?) died and he was kept in a garage and basment for around 5 months. They just called him "Yorkie", although after one look at him you can see he is more Pom than Yorkie. Long story short, he is now a Fluffybutter!

You are SUCH AN ANGEL FOR ALL YOU DO !!

I just love his name Sidecar Barney - how did he come into that name if I can ask ?? he's precious and I wish him a new home FULL of love and care ...he sure deserves it poor little guy. what a sad life he had up till now:( He's just precious but you can see his sad eyes in that one picture on the left

I always love hearing your stories and seeing the newest additions to Fluffybutts even though I wish there was NO NEED for people like you .....

Kudos to you - you're a true hero for dogs everywhere.

First of all, were you able to see the video? Someone from or group said they couldn't see it so I was wondering if thre was a problem.

You are the first person to ask me about his name! I got the name from one of my favorite Andy Griffith epsidodes. Remember that one? In the back of my mind I always thought that would make a great name for a dog. I waited for the right one and this little guy fits it perfectly! It's my guess that Barney came from one of the better "breeders" as she calls herself, since he is in such good physicl health. However, you can tell he was totaly new to being picked up and loved. He really wants to be loved, but is just scared. He will be fine though. Just fine. He is one of the lucky ones!

the video didn't work for me but sometimes my computer acts up so I thought it was on my end - and while I don't remember that show (well I DO but I don't if ya know what I mean lol) I think the name is TOTALLY Cute and he must be special for such a great name :) ....I just can't imagine how hard it must be to see a yorkie who has never been held....bless his heart. :(

I have a question about Fluffybutts.....do you take donations to your cause ? I'm not well off financially but since I started selling labels online I try to donate a small percentage to good causes and YOU are a GOOD CAUSE. I'm going to go look on your site for info but if you could pm me that would be great

EDITED - I'm reading your site now - can I link you on my website ? you have great information on mills etc and anything to help these guys is a step in the right direction !

I SO agree.:thumbup: I'm so honored to say Fluffy Butts IS now my 'official' cause to donate to. I got the nicest emails from 2 people @ Fluffy Butts today and just want to say thanks :) Dogs need people like you so much and thanks for all you do.

Ahhh...thanks so much! Bless your heart! If it were not for people like yourself we couldn't exist. Donations and purchases of our Ebay items and beds is what keeps us going. It's tough at times, but people always seem to help us when we need it most.

We really try hard to not "beg" for help/money, but sometimes we do put out the call to our supporter base. Every little bit helps and does indeed, add up.

Thaks again for your help. It means so much to the kids.

I saw the you tube video. He is adorable. I wish I could take him but we have 2 already which is our city's limit on dogs, and my husband put his foot down. He is so cute I'm sure he will find a great home really soon. Thanks for posting this on YT.

COOL !! I didn't know you have an ebay store !! Can you put up the link ? This site has a big heart and we LOVE to shop lol - and I've never seen you 'ask' for $ which is one reason it's nice to have it right out there that you do work off donations. Aside from food and shelter - the medical care for these poor dogs must really add up....

Also if you can ...tell Chris that email made my day ...I loved that Chanels Wild Child page got some laughs:D
