| ilovelouie | 05-22-2005 05:24 AM | My baby got hurt I took my 8 month old 3lb yorkie to my sisters house yesterday and she had a lot of company. I did not take my eyes off "louie" for 1 second and held him most of the time we were there. The one time that I did put him down I noticed that he was holding his rear leg up and would not walk on it. He does not cry or wince when i touch it, but he will not put it down and walk on it. I was told not to panic and to wait a day or two to take him to the vet because he probobly just has a little bruise or something. Has anyone had this kind of experience before....is it something I should be very, very concerned about? Like I said...he at no time cried out to indicate that he had gotten hurt, and he does not cry when I tough or manipulate his leg. I dont get it, but I am very very worried about him and if he continues this today i am taking him to his vet tomorow. If anyone has any ideas or has had a similar experience I appreciate it if you could give me some advice. thank you.
