New arrivals
 
We have a whoppin 5 puppies, and I think two more coming. 3 boys 2 girls, 4-4-5-6-6 oz. My poor little zowie has been such a trooper. She had the first one at 4:45 - 7:30 now. She has cleaned each one and they all seem wonderful . :p

That is wonderful!! With such a large litter you must be very careful of Zoey's health. Keep in close contact with your vet. I'll pray for you all today.

Wow!!! Congrats and I'm so glad everything has gone so well! 2 more pups? What a large litter...no wonder Zowie had a hard time moving around lately!

That's funny cause my mom asked if she licked them clean or if I had to. I thought my niece was going to bust a gut. This was her first litter and she is doing wonderfully. I think she is finished with the five. She has had water and cottage cheese, she wants me to stay in the room with her all the time. I moved them into my room so she could rest, but I think it is making her nervous not to be with me. The daddy is here, and he can only watch from a distance. She doesn't want him or the kitties to see them. She has been fine with my husband and I and the boys (14 and 17). We are excited and tired.

WOW 5 pups. Angel only had 3. Still I dunno if I can handle 5 lol

Awe!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!! It must be soooo amazing to see these babies born and then to get to watch them grow!!! So exciting!!!! Hope all is well with mama and her babies!!!! Can't wait to see some pics!!!!! :)

I put Zowie and her babies somewhere here, I was trying to follow the picture instruction thing. I can't figure out how to attach them. Obviously, I can't even get their little picture here right, and I really tried.

We have had a very good day today. I wrote in another thread, so I am repeating myself, but my littlest baby (no.3 - boy) was one of the smaller pups. He was approx 4 oz at birth, each of the others have seemed to gain about 2 oz but he is still 4. I try to put him on a teat several times a day, but when she licks him he falls off. He doesn't have the suction thing going like the others.

Do you think I should be supplemental feeding. He seems fine, but he still seems newbornish, where you can see the others gaining health.
