Does Anyone ever feel... 3 Attachment(s) .. Like they're living in a kennel?! I do lately!! *lol* I'm really cracking down on potty training and my house has turned into a cage for HUMANS with all the gates Xpens and other apparatus needed for the pups :) I actually had to clear out my dining room to make room for all the dogs things, hehe I'm officially owned by my dogs :) Here's some examples!! |
:lol tears |
*lol* Just one response!? Maybe I'm going nutty and thought it was more amusing than it is. :) hehe |
I know how you feel. I only have two Yorkies (so far...hehe) but I used to breed Persian cats and at one time had 12 adults. YIKES!!! I gave up my master bedroom for moms and babies and show cats. I think my family thought I had gone crazy, but I deffinately felt owned by my cats at the time. Even though I only have two dogs, my house is filled with dog beds, toys, kennels, blankies, etc......... I don't mond one bit, but I think it bothers my fiance a little. :) |
It is ironic that you should post this question 'cause while I was doing barn chores this evening I had the thought that I needed to clean the Kennel er uh I mean house.....:lol tears |
I felt like that when mine were younger and I used the xpens. My yorkies are only one month apart in age so I had 2 xpens in my small living room |
*lol* at least i'm not the only one!!! I hardly crate my dogs because I like to give them room... then i got to thinking and i was like I think I'M kenneled more than them!! With all these gates and their toys all over, haha :) |
Your cage is a lot neater than my cage! I sometimes feel like I am running a Nursery School with all the toys they scatter around. |
Don't feel bad I was thinking the same thing just this week.lol... I have a crate upstairs & one down stares... My living room is blocked off so he can't go in on the carpet so we have to step over the block without catching our foot on it & falling on our face...There's toys.. chew sticks..teddys..blankets etc..etc..And I only have one yorkie. :D I about have a heart attack when I step on one of those toys with a squeaker in it, no matter how many times I step on that toy I always think I stepped on Jack  My house never looked this way when my kids where small  But I love it :) |
Yep, I know exactly how you feel. Our house in completely owned by the dogs. You can say our dogs are beyond spoiled!! In our living room we have 2 ex pens. And the grooming table, and there big bin of toys with the toys usually scattered around the house. And then we have two pads out of the pens. Oh and then you have the dog beds scattered around the house, I can count 10 dog beds, but I know there is more. Oh and I can't forget the corner we have for all dog stuff, dog clothes, dog bags and carriers, medicines, treats, etc. Then there are two hooks that hold all their leashes, and harnesses, probably about 20. Then of course we have a gate by the upstairs so they don't go upstairs. And then we have the kitchen gated so they don't wonder in and happen to find something that is bad for them. Upstairs, I have one giant crate in my bed room with 2 dog beds on the floor and a pad and a food and water bowl. My mom has one crate in her room with 2 dog beds as well and a food and water bowl. In the bathroom closet the dogs have their own section where their towels, shampoos, conditioners, brushes, clippers and all other grooming supplies are. And the down stairs closet is half owned by them as well. We keep all the dog food and most of their clothes in it. I don't know what we would do if we had a smaller house, lol. Yet all at the same time we manage to keep it all organized and neat and clean. Of course you have to with 8 dogs otherwise it would be a big mess and a catastrophe. So yes, at times I feel like I live in a kennel, but I woulden't trade it for the world. |
