I am so bad...but I just can't help it.... This is too funny not to share. But there are those of you that will probably chastise me. So be it....I am LMAO A little bit ago, the doorbell rang. As usual, Sassy went OFF and I started telling her NO! To no avail, I might add. I have two doors at the front. A storm door and a wooden door. Both are usually closed. However, I just went to my van a while ago to get out the x-pen I had bought and neglected to close the storm door. Sooooo... I answered the door, counting on the storm door being closed. It wasn't. There was a teenage boy there selling newspapers. To the astonishment of both of us, Sassy immediately attacked! I was so stunned that for a moment I didn't react. She was very busy biting his blue jean legs and barking like a mad dog. I finally came to my senses, picked her up and apologised profusely. I was fine until I came back in and then I nearly fell on the floor laughing. Lord, forgive me, in retrospect, it was hilarious. He was just startled and stood his ground well and made a quick recovery. I was proud of him....but now, I have laughed until I have cried. I am ashamed of myself. I am on my way to the corner. I will stay until I can quit laughing. I have this killer dog here and don't know what to do about it. |
LOL that is funny poor kid |
Thankfully the kid didn't get hurt, or it wouldn't have been funny :( |

I understand completely where you were taken aback; but, so amused that this Yorkie is actually a 'dog'! At least it wasn't your hubby. My Abigail has decided she doesn't want dh moving about the house. lol Yes, it is a very good thing the boy didn't have broken skin, else it might not bode well for Sassy :( . OK, you've been sufficiently chastised, come out of the corner now ;). |

It's pretty cold here. Bluejeans are worn long and dragging the ground by the teens around here. She bit his blue jeans, not his flesh. |
Thank you. I am back at my computer now. Corner time is over. :p |

It's funny that she only does this at home. When we are out and about, she allows others to touch her. I am the one that doesn't want them to. So far, I have managed not to growl or snarl at anyone, but that might not always stay that way. |
Go Sassy! What a good girl protecting mommy from the evil salesman. I bet the kid grows up to be a an accountant -- forget door to door sales :) I laughed out loud -- at the risk of waking my sleeping family. Thank you! |
HEHEHEHE, I'm amused.....;) |
Sounds like the kind of thing that happens around our house. We order a pizza delivery one evening and when the doorbell rang, the same thing happened to us. All the dogs went crazy barking, and they just egg each other on. I grabbed Sam, the collie and was dragging him into another room, as he is the Chief Instigator, but Hubby couldn't pay for the pizza, take the pizza boxes and deal with 3 Yorkies trying to get out at the same time. Our baby puppy rushed out onto the porch and refused to come back in. So the pizza boy had to put the puppy on top of the pizza boxes to get so Hubby could get him back into the house. He called it Pizza Puppy dellivery! |

LOL Pizza Puppy Delivery. |
Shame :sidesplt: on :sidesplt: ..... oh never mind -- who wouldn't laugh at these pint-sized watch dogs? LOL! I am almost sure the "No Fear" line was created by a Yorkie owner. I am seriously thinking about disengaging our doorbell. It definately sets off the puppy alarms! My 4 are funny, if the doorbell rings, they are on alert and start barking. If they see someone outside, they are ready to attack -- vicious-sounding. But, if someone comes in the door, they want to jump on them, sniff and welcome them (which can be equally annoying when trying to take a step). We are making sure to come past the foyer when we enter before they are petted and loved on. It is nice to be missed. But I have got to get them away from this foyer foray! |
So did you buy any newspapers? |
