My story is I was seeing this counselor for alot of stuff going on in my life, and one day she called me at home and said, I want to do some research and I said on what and she said on what kine of dog you are going to get. I said what a dog. I have always had big dogs when I lived in Idaho as a kid, I thought they were all yappy. I didnt want the responsibility of a dog and I was gone all the time house sitting etc. One of the gals that worked on call in our department raises yorkies,and has had them for years. I called her up and she just happened to have puppies for sale in about 3 wks. I went down to see them and this one male who was the biggest of all came running towards me and it was love at first sight, he picked me and I picked him. So in about 3 wks I had my first yorkie and hs is my life and love, I give him the best of everything and he is so cute and very smart, not yappy and very social.I miss him all the time and I only work part time, I just want to be with him always. Yorkies rule........

The year was 1982, newly married and wanting so badly to start a family.
after trying and going through 4 miscarriages my life seemed empty
until one day my husband came home with the most cutest tinniest
little bundle of joy. I named her princess
(princess was bought from a pet shop):(
And boy did she live up to her name.
My dark days turned into sunshine. princess grew up to be
about 3.5 pounds, she had lots of seizures and her health
started going down hill.
right about that time, i found out i was pregnant again, my time was
so consumed with princess, that i really didn't relize how long
I had carried the pregnancy for.
without her in my life i don't think i would of made it through all
the heartbreaks I went through in life.
In April 1985 I gave birth to a baby girl and my life became complete.
My little princess didn't live much longer after that, its as if she
came into my life to keep me content until her job was done.
Since that day I have been totally devoted to the Yorkshire breed
I searched long and hard to find the best breeders around to purchase
my next pups from the rest is history!
Forgot to mention that right after my first daughter
I became a baby making machine, go figure?
my husband and I now have 5 grown daughters.
wait this gets even better!
after being done having kids for years God decided to bless us in
our semi-retiring age with a new baby Son. LOL
God works in mysteries ways.

Great story! I was about to cry! It does seem like Princess was sent to you to fill that empty space while you waited for your first child.....

a lot of people don't understand when your wanting a child so bad
that a dog can Replace them & heal your pain, :(
unless you've been there!
I was told I would properly never have a child.
