First Scrath On The Door 4 Attachment(s) Yipee!!!!!!! It's party time. Maggie scratched on the door to be let out this evening, for the very first time. I took her out and got 2 P's and a Poo. I know that is boring to most, but I'm tickled to death. Bless her heart, she's only 12 weeks old, but so very smart. Just had to share our great news. I know that there may be a day of set back, but at least we can see the end of the tunnel. |
Boring my foot! That's incredible! Esp. for a puppy that small. Way to Go Maggie! |
Congrats!:congrats: and she deserves :number1ri |
Maggie is beautiful and she is a good little girl . |
Thank you Sara. I have crate trained her since the day we brough her home. I never let her out of my sight and take her outside every hour. During the night, her crate is beside my bed. She goes to bed at 8:30, and sometimes wakes up around 2:30 to PP. Back to the crate and up at 6:30. It has been a rough month, but she rewards me with so much. |
Maggie is doing so much better than Copper. He does well on the paper, but outside has not been as successful. I get out of school in one week. Then, I plan to spend a lot of time working with him. How did Maggie do with her shots? Or has she had them yet? Copper had a really hard time the first evening, but was ok the next day. |
Thank you Peanut and Mandy. Maggie usually gets a very, very tiny piece of cheese when she comes back in from doing her business. We call it her PP treat. Well this time she got a slightly bigger piece. She is struting her stuff. |
Thank you Gazou for the compliment. But then, I will for sure agree. All mothers think their babies are the prettiest. |
Hi Ann, Maggie has already had her first two sets of shots. Will get her final set of puppy shots this coming Friday. I finally threw away all the wee wee pads. She wouldn't use them. I guess because I was always dragging her little fur behind outside to PP. I have been lucky, to be retired so I can consistantly keep her training on going. Hope Cooper is feeling better. |
I know, I cannot wait to retire! However, think it will be 4 more years. At least I will have the summer to really get down to business on training. Your little girl is really sweet looking and very smart! You should be a proud Mama. Keep up the good work! |
Go Maggie!! Good girl! |
I'll have to brag a little too! My Rowdy started going to the door and barking to go out just this week. He was 12 weeks old on Thursday. Of course, that does not mean he does it EVERY SINGLE TIME - but he is getting much much better with an accident only occasionally when we are not paying close enough attention. We are lucky too because his daddy is retired and watches him constantly and takes him out every hour. Rowdy never would use the wee pads either, although we do have a play pen in the den for when we have to leave him for an hour or two and we keep papers down on the floor (it's concrete) but he doesn't ever go on them anymore. Anyway, I just wanted to brag a bit about my Rowdy-boy. He's growing up! |
WOOHOO, MAGGI! :bravo: btw, your baby is GORGEOUS!!!!! |
Keep up the good job Maggie. You are a big girl now! We are all rowdyig for you |
Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Congrats to Maggie, she is one smart puppy, Licks from Jack. |
