Well there was a puppy. Not the one we wanted, but I still love her.

The breeder said she was suppose to be 4lbs full grown. She shipped to me 4lbs 7oz.

Her birth records are false as well. My vet said she is at least 17 weeks old because her teeth are ready to fall out, and the breeder said she was 12 weeks old.

I assume this lady is running a puppy mill and she picks out any old puppy and shoves it in a crate and ships it.

Once my internet at home starts working we are going to file with the BBB and most likly take her to court if she doesn't respond to our emails and phone calls.

The problem is, she wont let you come get the dog. She only ships or meets you away from her house. But I have her home address so she may get a knock on her front door one of these days. As soon as we saw this was a problem we were planning on driving out this past weekend and picking the dog up. But as soon as we suggested she booked a flight.

Please help.

Especially look at for the one's that say they are in Africa, Europe, Nigeria, etc, come on now overseas and charge $100 for shipment, that is ridiculous, these peoples scam are getting old now.

She would be turning her in for trying to sell the same dog to different people. After she had already sent the money for the dog and promised it would be shipped, she emailed with another addy and asked about the very same pic -- the lady was still offering to sell it. So, she thinks if she gets a dog, it will probably not be the one pictured. She either uses the same pic to advertise all the puppies, or she has not puppies and just uses the pic to scam.

I hope she posts today whether or not a puppy came in on the flight as promised. This is like a cliffhanger!

I've talked a few times to a lady in St. Louis about my first yorkie I was going to by. She said she still had Mary and that I could buy her for $450 dollars and this included shipping. I will post the pups pictures w/ this thread. I told the lady that I would have money for here in about a week if she would hold the pup for payment as I fell instantly in love with Mary (I was going to call her Lil Bit short for little miss britches because she was small) I was told that she weighed 1lb 1oz and that was at 10wks of age. 7 days later she only weighed an oz more. Now in the mean time of me talking with this seller I continued my search on the internet for other pups maybe closer to me that I could drive and see. To no avail there weren't any and a couple of ads i responded to said they were out of pups at the moment but this lady had them to contact her let her know that I would provide a caring and loving home for this dog and would treat her w/ the utmost love, care & respect ( i mean who wouldnt do this to their pets/children anyways). Well the day I was going to make my payment i just happened to be searching the site and came across a BEWARE SCAMMER FRAUD PUPPIES FOR SALE ad. I clicked on it and sure enough my seller's email address had been listed. I was upset, furious and heartbroken. I tried reaching the seller for 3 days on the 4th day i finally got a response from her and then her telling me that she'd not seen that ad. When I provided her w/ a link to it the ad had been removed. :( She states she still has the pup for me and that she would get the pictures for me so I can see what she looks like now. I'm still waiting on her pictures. Oh and she was coming w/ AKC papers w/ full registration rights and everything. Now after looking at pups on here and in the books my thoughts are she really can not be 10 wks old. She's more like 6 maybe 8. I am still waiting on pictures and its been over a week. Now I am purchasing my pup from someone else who i most definately feel more comfortable with. She even has a legit website. Unlike the other seller she just post ads. It was also weird that the only way to pay for Mary was threw MoneyGram and she gave me her name and address.. But when i talked to her after the scam ad it all of a sudden changed to her Husbands name since he would be handling the transaction and the shipping of the puppy. I am apalled that there are people out there that would do this to innocent people like myself just wanting a yorkie to love and to cherish and to spend a lifetime with. But unfortuanlty there are such people.

I understand what you are going through. I still dont have a yorkie. this past semester i took a class called personal finance and we studied a lot on scams. so i was lucky enough to catch all of the ones i experienced. if you can give me more details i will try to help you.

OMG!!!! I went to this site and those poor puppies look scared and as if they have fear in their eyes. I dont see compassion or love looking back at me. They are cute but how at 8 weeks can someone determine their adult weight. Hello Common yorkie talk states that an estimated weight can only be deteremined at 12 wks of age and that estimate can't even be written in gold. just cause the mom and dad weigh under 4 or 5lbs doesnt mean the babies will. what happened if there is a grandpap or mam on their pedigree that was 8+ lbs or even more. Wow I'm so glad to have all the awesome members at YT that give out such great and viable yorkie information.. YT rocks!!!

I went to the web site you posted and you can tell that the yorkies are very large and she is saying they are younger than they are you can tell by the coat and the size. I'm really sorry you didn't get what you were told you were. The females and the males she is breeding look very large to like in the 10 lb range to me the males look a little smaller but they do look big. Also the puppies again Peeka my yorkie is 4 lbs 4 ozs and he looks smaller than te puppies that she claims are 2 lbs:eek: i would turn her in asap!!

The puppies that are for sale are a couple ounces shy of 2 lbs at 8 weeks and she is saying they will be 4 lbs as an adult? I guess it is possible but think the will be closer to 6 lbs.

Have you taken her to the vet yet? Make sure she checks out healthy. I'm sure she will, but it's best to know and forget about this terrible woman.

I'm so glad you got a dog though and that you love her! That's the really good news.

Did she actually get the dog? I thought that she was scammed and didn't ever get the dog. Oh, I am so :confused: confused!

She just updated her site after we sent her a nasty email.

We will be turning her in to the BBB and the AKC which she is registered with.

Anywhere else we can turn her in at? I want to call the local police in her area but I dont think it will do any good.

You could post it on the ripoffreport. At least you could make others aware of what you experienced from buying a puppy from them.
