Yes I thought the kennel didnt look too bad but then again he had how long to get it cleaned up because he knew they would be coming at one time or another. He didnt do himself a favor by not letting them see anything they wanted to like where the puppies were being kept. Seems like he was hiding something by doing that. I would have liked to see the inside where the cages are. Not sure why he wouldnt invite them in and hush all of the talk about how bad it is. Not a good move in my opinion. |
I wonder WHY he wouldn't let them in the kennels? It great to say they looked good from 500' in the air but what the big secret INSIDE the kennels? But - wow there were alot of dogs & Amber is right - that's such a short time to air stories like this but it was very well done - and Mr. Moore DID get his chance even if he played down how many sick dogs are sold....I feel FOX news did a great story and if anything it does help the public and people that don't know better the dangers of not researching their breeders. Back when I went there I had no idea this was a kennel of this size - I thought they ONLY sold yorkies based on their website - but that's where it gets deceiving - they had a seperate website for every breed sold. way to Go Woofsheperd - I know you had a big story to tell but you made it onto the report. You did your part helping dogs and maybe Mr. Moore will try to make sure the dogs he does sell are healthy now with this publicity. VERY WELL DONE David and FOX News. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: |
yeah the first time I went to brushy creek I was told by dawn (I asked her) that they only raised shih tzus and cavaliar king spaniels, but then later I found out they had over 15 diffrent breeds! I wonder why they would try and hide the truth about the amount of dogs the have. And as far as I'm concerned at 500 feet in the air how are you really going to notice the details such as coat, skin, noses and overall health of the breeder dogs, although it was a nice looking place for the dogs (as far as what we saw) I don't understand why no one is allowed in the puppy area and kennel. I believe if you don't have nothing to hide, why hide it??? |
You know what Dobie, you're just getting on my nerves. At this point, you're just trying to be contentious for the heck of it. It's not as cute as you think it is. (wow, I believe that's my first official YT flame! :p) At any rate, this time can we keep the flirting and the off topic debates to your other threads, and let this one stay focused? Yes, the kennel looked clean. And yes, with all the brouhaha, he had plenty of time to get the place spit-polished for his "unannounced" visitors. But I don't care if it's that clean ALL the time....it just made me sick to my stomach to see so many dogs getting raised like that, for profit. I know there are no laws against it, but that is just SAD. And for the amount of time, I think there was LOTS of info about customers and their sick dogs packed in. Yes, there are many more heartbreaking stories to be heard....but this is the nature of news reports, duh. Huge stories are ALWAYS boiled down to one or two pertinent sentences. Man, I am feeling cranky this afternoon. :p |
Wow... just because the kennels from afar didn't look run down, dirty and disgusting.. doesn't mean the dogs get the care they deserve.. veterinary and otherwise. Also, the fact that the woman in the video would not show the buyer the puppies parents is so sad. She talked about the dogs like they were a pair of shoes.. bring it back if there's a problem and we'll exchange it for you? I don't think so. Good story... |
