On a slightly different note, there is a story tonight on fox 5 in the new york metro area on a pet store that sells unhealthy puppies. the radio ad didn't say what petstore it is but it did say that it sold a puppy with a dislocated hip to a family. i'm gonna watch that tonight |
The story was aired a few minutes ago and can't wait to watch the second part. It breaks my heart to see all those puppies waiting for someone to rescue them.:( |

Update: New Instructions To See Fox Report Online The higher-ups at Fox 26 realized that the website's business section really wasn't the right place for our investigative stories. So here's how you can see Randy's story on Brushy Creek Kennel: >Go to www.myfoxhouston.com >Click on the "news" tab near the top of the page >Click on "Randy Wallace, Fox 26 Investigates" on the right side of page >Click on the title from list of stories (most recent at top) Tuesday's Brush Creek story should be available for viewing sometime Wednesday morning. I saw the report last night. It was very interesting. They actually had a hidden camera and went on site with it. David's responses to questions were pretty worthless. He never did give a straight answer. It was always, "Well everyone sells a sick puppy now and then" kind of response. Like it wasn't a normal occurance from his kennel. :eek: The kennel did look clean, but that doesn't mean there are no sick puppies there. And it was really big. They showed it from the air. I'd be interested in knowing whoes Yorkie that was on the air. I bet she's a YTr! Beautiful baby, despite all the health issues she had to deal with. All in all - it was a really interesting report. You'll have to watch it online to get all the particulars, as it was a lot of info in a short amount of time. I'm really looking forward to tonight's report! |

David, What did you guys mean he would not let you in because of security reasons? How long were you guys allowed on his place? It seems you did not use much of his clips if you were there any amount of time. Isn't Randy an investigative reporter? I want to hear more from the horses mouth so to speak. someone like 20/20 needs to pick this story up becaus ethere is just not enough time on these clips they need a 1/2 hour to an hour story so everyone can get the facts. Honestly his kennel didn't look bad yes the lady that brought out the puppy for the undercover producer made it obvious that they have sick puppies by stating if you think there is something wrong bring it back and we'll get it better?:eek: But they did do a good jub giving him equal time and nobody can say they made him look like a mean monster because they didn't he actually came offf looking pretty good. Yes there should be a little more detail about those stories of the sick puppies this story needs more time! It isn't something you can get across in 3 minutes i really wish they could do a speacial about it that was at least a 1/2 hour. It was insightful but not enough info to really make buyers beware. Thanks Fox for doing this story it means a lot to us hear i really wish you could get more air time for it! |
