White fur on puppy?
 
I've read that puppies with white hair on the feet and chest will have really nice coats of hair, and that the white will turn to tan or gold as the puppy ages.

How do you know if your puppy is a parti or a carrier?
How long does the puppy white fur last?

It is best to ask the breeder..they should know the lines from which they are breeding. Good Luck

I don't know if he's a parti gene carrier but Jo still has a white patch on his chest and a little on his toes and he's almost 27 months old. He also has a silk coat.

morgan had white on her chest and two rear toes and her coat is a mess. i'm not sure if its wooly or cotton but its definately not silky

I thought the white was considered a fault. Is that not true?:confused:

It's a fault as an adult dog, but common as puppies to have a little that fades to tan. I didn't know how long it would stay. I just wondered if it meant that they were a parti carrier, or if this was unrelated to the parti gene.

Bobbi was born with a white patch on his chest...........he's almost 7 months and it's turning tan............his coat is coming in quite silky ;)

This is him now and as a baby.

My Lucy has some white on one of her front paws. She's now 9 months. I was told the reason her breeder sold her and didn't breed her was because of the white foot.
