Help I Need Advice!!
 
Ok i really need some help here everyone first off when do these girls useually have their first heat? Daisy is 4 months old now and i was wondering do they usually have them at six months or does it vary a lot? Also Peeka is like a horndog from Hell I don't know what to do with him i thought at first it was a dominance thing but i know it's not. Does this die down or will he be like this forever? He acts like she is in heat but i know she is not. I feel bad for her He is always on her either licking her no no spot or humping her head. Is this how it will always be did anyone else have this problem with their male? Please i need some help here. I have to keep them seperated a lot because of this

Oh Amber Im sorry your having this problem....Mine are both "fixed" but Louie is also a horndog and he is always trying to "lick" and hump Bella....My girlfriend just told me to tell him "NO" in a firm voice and this usually gets him off of her and then I just try to distract him with something else. Good luck hun.

I try the no and distraction but he is obsessed with her he doesn't hear or see anything else whem she is around.

What about the heat cycles anyone know about when they have them? i think she is to young for her first one but it makes me wonder because of the way Peeka is acting

Amber Juicy is 11 months old and just started her first heat cycle. Baby started at around 10 months! Hope this helps! I have a male bichon but he is fixed. The rest of them are females.

If your male isn't neutered yet, I would strongly suggest having it done. The heat cycle normally starts at between 6 to 9 months of age. When your female is 6 months old, I'd have her spayed. I hope you weren't planning on breeding these two. Do them both a favor and have them neutered and spayed.

Mimi has not gone into heat and she will be 1 yr old next month.

Thank you!!! so do a lot of the have them later then and then do they go more regular like every 6 -8 months? Sorry it's my first girl and i don't want any accidents with Mr. Horn Dog over here lol. He has now resorted to jumping in the playpen from the floor:eek: :eek: I swear i have no idea how he can jump that high

hmm.. sorry i didn't think i was asking about breeding them.

Om my Peeka!!! You are a little horn dog !! After a heat cycle Baby varied and had them every 6 -7 months. When Daisy does go into heat remember she will still be in heat after she stops spotting!

Me to i mean i know that at first this was going to happen but i really thought it would die down i guess i just don't understand my mom's yorkie Boo (Peeka's brother) doesn't really want anything to do with her he doesn't try to hump her at all. Peeka started this when i was taking him around all the mom yorkies when i was looking for Daisy and all the sudden he was mr. Hump-n-Stuff lol
