She's a precious puppy, with beautiful coloring! Will be interesting to see how she grows and changes!
(the big dog was supposed to be a YORKIE-POO?!?!?! whaaaaaa-?! :D But, I'm sure you love him! :)) | Yes! The lady ran an ad in the paper; said the mama was a poodle, but she kept her inside the house, and she had gotten out and the poodle and the "mean" yorkie that she kept in the yard had tied up. I never saw the mama, the lady said she would bite, but there was a male yorkie in the yard, probably about 12 lbs? Kind of big, but still smaller than Woody is now. The ad said free yorkie-poo, and I jumped for it; my husband was rather adverse to paying a large amount for a dog... So up I went, he was super tiny when I got him three months ago, but he has grown and grown and grown... I'm not sure he ever going to stop! Well, I finally realized the he wasn't, his coloring was very dark when I got him and he just kept getting lighter and lighter... I went and talked to the lady again. Then she tells me the mama is half poodle and half "something"? Her excuse was that "something" else must have gotten to the mama.... I am so glad that I had not paid for him, I would have been absolutely furious... He's really smart though. House trained (finally), loves to play with our bigger lab outside, sits, fetches, plays ball, eats off of a fork, stands up, gives kisses and hugs... He's just not a yorkie-poo :)
I certainly learned my lesson from her, though - I will always insist on seeing both parents. He was the first dog I had ever went and gotten myself, my husband usually picks them out and picks them up, as they are all larger... |
