Well I put my craft skills to the test today and this is what I came up with. Nothing to fancy, but I think it's kinda cute.

I had been eying some treat jars, but I wanted her to have her own "special" treat jar!
What do you all think??

Love it, so adorable and such a great idea. Now i want one. I love all the stickers on the jar, definitely will be on the look out for some like that, maybe i will give it a go to...LOL :)

Alrighty, I will tell you all my secret lol
1st I took a large coffee mate creamer Can and wrapped construction paper around it and glued it on. Then I bought the stickers at Walmart in the craft dept. I just decorated it with all the neat stickers.

If anyone is interested in me making them one, let me know, I have a few more Jars left.

Thank you for sharing!! I use Coffeemate myself. :) I can't believe you got those great stickers at Wal-Mart! I don't usually go into their craft department, but obviously I'll be correcting that mistake with my next visit. Your jar looks fantastic...& I'm sure Lillie loves having "her" container. :star: Muffin's got a Ziploc container, plain & dull. I'd better do something about that! Wal~Mart has a wonderful craft dept, I buy most of my sewing items from there. I dont know what will do if they take it away.

If you make one, let me know, I would love to see a photo of what you come up with!

I wanted to do something with the lid, but nothing really came to mind.

Do you have any cording/braiding or what I call "Ric-Rac" trim?? You could glue that around the edge of the lid. And how about a lovely picture of Miss Lillie on the top of it?? Just a suggestion...you've had my mind thinking about this since yesterday! :)

Hmmmmm now that is a very good idea! I love the braid idea arounf the edge and then her photo would just top it off! Great idea! :thumbup:

I'm so glad you liked the idea! :) I'm going to get myself to Wal-Mart this week & make a B-Line to the craft/sewing department! The only things I have on hand are the Coffeemate Container & some gold cording left over from Christmas cards I made. :rolleyes: I'm so happy you told me about Wal-Mart, because I just wouldn't have thought of it! I'd end up going to Micheal's Crafts or Jo-Ann's & spending way more, I'm sure. (Gotta love saving a penny or two! :cheer: )

The only thing with Wal~Mart, is they really didn't have any girly colors, but I liked the neutral colors just as well. I cant wait to see what you come up with!

Thats really a lot cuter than the jars i've seen in stores lately. I was going to get one that wasnt bad but it was $25!! I thought it was a little pricey for a jar to put dried liver or bone marrow into.
I wish i was as creative as you are :)
