Meet Pepper! Hey everyone it's Jamie from FluffyButts again! I just picked up a new Yorkie rescue today and thought I would share his story and link to his video. Pepper and his sister's mom died last week and there family immediatly took them to the local shelter. They were scheduled to be PTS the next morning at 7:30 am. However the shelter was so busy that they didn't have time to do it right away. Long story short, Pepper's sister just happened to be adopted later that day and one of our rescuers in Kansas City went to the shelter and got Pepper JUST IN TIME! WAHOOO!!!!! The staff at the shelter actualy started crying when she came in and asked about him (they were so busy they didn't even asnwer the phone all day). They were sure no one would want him as he was so old and didn't look too good. Well, he went to the dogtor the next day and got his shots, a quick grooming and four toofers pulled. He is with me now and just hanging out power-lounging. Cute little guy, just old and tired and wants to be loved for the rest of his life. Please check him out here: http://web.mac.com/jamies3/iWeb/Home...r%20Video.html Also, remember little Patton that I posted about a while back? Patton was a stray and pretty mangy when I got him but he has the bestest life ever now! He found a great home and you can see a video of him here: http://web.mac.com/jamies3/iWeb/The%...n%20Video.html Thanks for checking these out. The new Fluffybutts site is coming along so feel free to look around if you have the time. Also, any suggestions on how to improve the site are welcome! Thanks, Jamie and Max PS. You can check out Max's bog and leave comments if you like! I will be updating it tonight! |
Bless your heart !!! I always go see your latest and greatest and Pepper is a doll !! He really can break your heart with those eyes can't he ?? How could someone just take that baby for no reason and have him Put to sleep (and I say that nicely... because it's NOT putting them to sleep - it's putting them to DEATH):( :( :( but I don't understand....he looks FINE - why couldn't they have tried to find him a home rather than kill him ???? people Sooooo suck - then there's people like YOU who make up for it. ALL THE BEST AND GOOD WORK on the site - I love fluffybutts ...I need to go see Patton but had to post to you - |
It doesn't work for me. Can't you just post his picture? |

The family is to blame here. They took the dogs in as soon as they had a chance after there mother died. I am not certain, but pretty sure they knew that they would be killed immediatly but just did not care. Of course, this happens ALL OF THE TIME! Daily. Thousands of times a day. Pepper got lucky. Most do not. Peper is old, but not in real pain and I would bet anything that in a week or two he is a totaly different dog than I see now. Jeesh, his mom just died, sister left, spent a night in a strange, loud shelter, spent the next night in a dogtors office and then got shots and toofers pulled and the matted hair that was STUCK to his eyeballs removed (hence the odd look around his eyes). The next day he was transported to me. He has had it rufffff recently to say the least! Thanks agian for you response, gotta go help Max update his blog. Jamie |

You need Quicktime to view the video. However I posted it on YouTube as well for those that do not have Quicktime. Just so you know, Quiktime 7 is free and with it you can view all of the videos on our website. Link to quiktime: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html Link to You Tube version of Little Pepper: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvuSeze42m8 Thanks! Jamie |
I just love  the Fluffybutts site & enjoy reading all the blogs & info you have on each of your lucky furbabies! I didn't realize until a couple of months ago that IGive.com has Fluffybutts as a designated donation organization...I switched mine over to you guys right away! It's not a whole lot of money, but if I'm ordering online I feel better knowing you get a little something each time. :) CJ |
