have you ever used this? I give all of my adult dogs brewers yeast. it helps with their coats, shedding, and overall skin condition. i swear by it. but I cannot for the life of me find anything saying at what age you can start giving it to them. both of my dogs were adults before I found out about it. The bottle of brewers yeast tablets doesn't say anything about age. it only says to give 1 tablet per 10 lbs of weight. does anyone here know anything about this...at what age I can start giving it to maggie. I am assuming 6 months is a safe bet but I am just really curios to know if I can give it to her now. she is 18 weeks old now. |
hmmm i dunno... I bought a bottle because someone told me it was good for fleas... but Gizmo never liked it.... |
maggie loves it. she has had a couple on accident. when I give it to the other dogs she goes completely crazy for it and is practically taking it out of their mouths. little snot. so I have to give it to them when she is in her crate or in another room. she really wants it :) i hear it is good to ward off fleas as well. but more than anything it is a miracle worker for skin and coat. and it has completely cured our min pin of his horrible shedding problem and his dull color. |
i'm bumping this cuz i am still looking for an answer :) |
Hmmmm....not a clue. I give mine the MissingLinkPlus, though it says for ADULT dogs (mine are both still pups). No adverse affects here:D And one of the ingredients is brewer's yeast. I'd call the vet and ask them. |
