Peanuts Is it safe to give Yorkies peanuts? My boyfriend's mom has been giving it to Fred as a treat and the other night, he pooped out a log of peanuts. No poop, just peanuts!! |
LOL... the human body can't digest them really, so I can see why a dog's body wouldn't either if they didn't chew them up well. Babies poop out peanuts, raisins and corn whole. (ew) |
dianne Its funny you should ask that I was in a pet shop today looking for a kong for my new baby and when I asked the lady what food can you put in them she mentioned peanut butter but told me you have to be careful cause some dogs are allergic to peanuts.just thought id tell you. :) dianne :) |
Peanut butter is OK but very fattening but whole peanuts like any other nut can't be digested and could cause constipation or a blockage. |
