I am going to pick up my new baby on Sat.
 
I am off early tommorow morning to pick up my new baby girl Angel.
I am flying into Oklahoma City to visit with family and Sat morning we are driving into Kansas to pick up Angel.
I bought her from Pam / ksbiewers and Kathy / Kathy785. They have been so great, I can't wait to finally meet them in person.
Due to bad weather I couldn't fly out earlier so keep your fingers crossed, all will go smoothly this weekend.
I will be home late Sunday night so I will post pictures on Monday. I hope Bailey will enjoy having a new little sister.:)

You know Muffin & I can't wait to see little Angel!! :littleang She's going to have the bestest Mommy in the world & I bet Bailey will love having a little sister to boss around!!

I got an email from Pam this morning and she told me that Angel was going to her forever home tomorrow. I'll bet you are sooooo excited!! You are absolutely going to love meeting Pam. She is such a sweetheart and a great mommy to her Yorkies. While I know that it will be very hard to say goodbye to Angel tomorrow, she knows that Angel is going to a great new home.

Pam also told me that Angel has been missing CoCo(Rocha) a lot and looking for her. Too bad you don't live closer so we could get these little sisters together again.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you tomorrow that the weather cooperates so you can get your baby. Best of luck and PLEASE post pics when you get back on Sunday.

I'm so excited for Michele that you'd think it wasy MY new little furbaby! :yelrotflm It looks like weather shouldn't be a problem for them...both flying today & driving tomorrow. I've been checking the weather all week as if that is in some way helpful! :rolleyes:

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for all the well wishes and good thoughts about the weather. It was fine and we no problems going to pick Angel up. We met Pam and all her dogs, and they are all so sweet and well behaved. My brother was on the floor paying with them. Angel is so sweet and so quiet, Bailey is the rowdy one in the group now:D , I did hear her growl today ( at her reflection in the office window) so she does make noise. She is 2.8 lbs, very petite.
Angel's mom was half yorkie half biewer and her father is a biewer.
She went to the vets this morning and passed with flying colors.:)
I went and bought her a cat breakaway collar with a bell, she is so small and quiet we were afraid she might get stepped on.
She did pretty well on the plane, she did get sick and drooled a lot, but the flight attendents on US Air , were very nice and let me hold her on my lap after take off and didn't mind me holding her on landing. I did pick the very last seat in the back of the plane though.
She has a grooming appointment on the 24th to cut off some of her puppy hair. I found a yorkie groomer who is local.

She is absolutely gorgeous, Michele!! Oh my gosh, I can't stand how cute her little face is! (Evidently she can't either if she' growling at her reflection. ;) ) I'm so glad the vet visit went well. Her name suits her because she IS an Angel. :littleang

Thanks CJ, She is very entertaining to watch, she kind of tip toes around like a cat, pouncing on toys and blankets. Here is a picture of her making friends with my husband. :)
Bailey is on the floor sleeping/guarding her new pink ball & Angel is the one curled up on my hubby's side.

Michelle, welcome back from your trip to pick up Angel and WELCOME little Angel to YorkieTalk!! You are a beautiful little girl. Your sister, CoCo says 'hello and I MISS you!!'

I'm glad you are back safe and that you finally have your precious little Angel home with you. You are going to just love having this little addition to your family.

Pam told me how emotional it was for both of you when you left with Angel. It is so hard for her to give up her babies because she loves them so much. This is the thing that sets her apart from many breeders. She is a true mother to all of her furkids and those of us who are lucky enough to get one of her dogs are truly blessed.

It didn't take too long for my other two to get used to CoCo so I'm sure Bailey will warm up to her new sister real soon.

Keep posting those pics! :D

Michelle, I wish I could have been there to meet you too. Drat that part-time job!! I am so glad that little Angel has found a wonderful home. She and I were very close her first few weeks. I don't know if Pam told you how she got her name or not. Angel's mother kept taking her away from the litter after I started supplementing her, because she was so small and the litter so large. Two breeders and our vet told us that she probably had something wrong that could not be detected, but her fur mommy knew it. We had her into the vet several times for check ups to detect anything that might be wrong, nothing was ever found. Angel had her name long before the rest of the litter, as she was my "little Angel" if she survived or not. She has been handled and spoiled right from the start. Give Angel kisses from her Kansas mommies! Thanks for giving her such a great home!

Thanks Kathy! I wish that we had been able to meet also, but perhaps another time. Angel is such a sweetheart, she is learning how to climb stairs. Our daughter's room is upstairs...she will climb about 5 stairs and sit, expecting to be carried up the rest of the way:p Angel and Bailey slept by each other last night on our bed so progress is being made.
She is very healthy, I just want her to gain a little more weight. She has been coming to work with me the last couple of days, she just hangs out. Very laidback personality, making my other yorkie Bailey seem like a terror.
