:eek: What?! I am sooo glad Lexie is back home. The whole time I was reading that post about her threating to euthanize her I was expecting the worst. There are a lot of sick people out there! :mad: :mad:

What a witch!! Buyers like her have to be a breeders worst nightmare. I am so glad to hear Lexy is okay now and back with the breeder

Oh, Andrea is NOT the breeder of Lexie. Andrea purchased her long ago but Lexie ended up being 12 lbs...out of breed standards and that is why Andrea was placing her.

12 lbs of Joy. Human is still the nastiest animal in the world. So this is not news to me. Just makes me angry when I read things like this.
Hope the big boy is ok and has a good home from now on.

why isn't sunsoaked5 banned?? i would think she could be banned for doing such a thing.

Wow what an amazing story I am glad that Lexie is back with Andrea as well. How awful this could of been.

As far as the humane society...if it's an owner release and the owner specifically request euthanization, then they do not have to wait any amount of time. I just don't get it. WHY would the humane S keep going with a euthanizia IF someone is all ready to take that dog out of there ?? I can't believe what I'm hearing - there is something very wrong if a woman can just REQUEST it - and another woman is there to SAVE THAT DOG and they still wouldn't release her ? That's so NUTS !

So you said the Bassets didn't make it into the building - because someone SAVED them right ?? Once someone relinquishes rights to their dog I would think the Humane Soc. would JUMP on someone stepping in and saving the dog & hand it over no questions asked.

I agree. Sounds like she DID soak up too much sun. :mad:

I hope she doesn't come back to this site. She should be so ashamed of herself - whatever happened is between the seller and buyer ....but to request a dog be put to sleep over nothing is WRONG, inhumane & just plain evil.

I read about Lexie in the other thread last night when you were looking for transportation.
I was wondering about what had happened...that so called woman is a nightmare! What is wrong with people?
Thank God, Lexie was rescued and is back with her original owner.
I hope she is healthy and in good shape. Is she still going to be rehomed?
Poor girl, I pray that everything will work out.

I wish that story had a happy ending, but no, Vee...the owners signed off on the bassets (with the blue eyes)...they didn't want them anymore...wanted them euthanized and they received their shots right on the truck. That's what I meant when I said they never made it inside the building.

Dogs have to be evaluated before they are ready for adoption. They have to make sure that the dog will be good for adoptions, have had vet checks and their spay/neuter surgery. There are thousands of dogs that are euthanized every week...those are not just stray dogs...many are owner release.

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( I sure read your post wrong - I was thinking they didn\'t make it into the building because someone saved them. That just isn\'t right. I know they\'re overwhelmed but I think exceptions should be made especially when they Knew someone would be coming to get that poor yorkie

I will always wonder why you don\'t have to have a license to have children or pets. This world is full of heartless people... the buyer claimed the puppy tried to bite her child... ahh... HELLO... that is what puppies do!!! I\'m a mother so I can say this... PAY ATTENTION TO THE CHILD!!!
