HAHAHHA 'half-poo'...that's hysterical! My Betty is 4 months old and already has me trained to know that she needs a treat IMMEDIATELY after she pees (she looks up at me while she is going as if to say, 'Get ready...I'm almost done'). Then, when we go back inside, she needs another treat. And if I pretend I don't remember, she stays in one spot and stares at me until I give it to her.

If i could only get Daisy to at least pretend to go potty outside like she is supposed to i would fill her tummy with treats lol. AGGHHHH this girl is so hard to potty train she just goes where ever and when ever she wants.:eek: :thumbdown i had Peeka trained in a week and this little girl has no interest in it at all. she will go outside but it doesn't click with her because just as i think i have made progress she pee's or poop's on the floor. She is now going to the bathroom in the Play pen which she didn't do before and trust me i take this girl out a lot!!! Sometimes i think she holds it till she gets back in!!:eek:

Molly would give us the stare down too if we would not give in to an additional treat!!!

My husband especially would say to her "Molly you have already had one" and he would try to not give her the second one. If she couldn't shake it out of him,

she would go find me, then give me the stare down!
I would always give in and go get her her treat.

My favorite cartoon is the Mutts one by Patrick McDonnell.
One of the best ones showed Earl & Mooch teaching each other 'dog'.

Arf means 'I want a treat.'

Bark means 'hey,howzabout a treat'

Woof means 'good time for a treat'

Ruff means either 'I sure could go for a lil snacky treat' or 'let's go to the fridge and see if there are any treats.'

He sums it up saying 'it's the language of love.'

OMG! My dogs are doing that too!! They did it last night about 8x!! They run outside for a second and run back in and then look at me like 'ok wheres my treat??" I just say to them "did you pee outside? only boys that pee outside get treats." and then I sit down with no treat! Im hoping they get it after awhile. pee = treat, not outside = treat! haha:D

yes, I get tricked by potty bells so she can go outside and play. Also, she does have rollovers in hopes for a treat. Smarty pants aren't they?

My yorkies always had treats after pee pee. My little Mickey knew the treats were one of two places. There were two drawers in the bottom of the pantry and he learned to open them :eek:
Then we had a decorative container by the front door. It didn't matter where we rehomed the container. He would find it and brush the side with his paw.

LOL...........We are on our 9th just in the last 3 hours:eek:.
