I think something is TERRIBLY wrong i am not exactly sure but i think something is wrong with Rex. I had him on the couch and clipped on the leash. he was so excited he was twisting and turning and then he jumpped off the couch...but the leash was caught on his leg~ he cried like crazy but after a bit of massaging he got back up..that was about an hr ago....now about 1/2 hr ago he lifted his leg off the floor and started howling again! i massaged again and he lay for a bit then got up.......i dont think its broken because he can walk....wut do u think is wrong with him |
I am not sure but maybe you should take her to get looked at.. I am sorry.. Mocha sends licks and kisses |
Sounds like he should go to the vet if he is still in pain. I do not like to mess around with that sort of thing. |
I hope he's ok!! We wish him our best. |
Better safe than sorry Yes, I would say. Take him to the Dr. just to make sure everything is ok. |
Oh Im so sorry that he is in pain. I agreed is best to get him check. I hope is ok. Keep us posted please. I hope he gets better soon. :aimeeyork |
I totally agree - Chanel did that and cried for a few hours everytime I touched her ...even if it's minor you'll feel much better knowing it isn't anything serious - I would just go to the vet as a standby and have them take a look;...hope your baby it OK ! |
i would take him to the vet too........... but........ just so you know, toby did that once after i stepped on him and he was just faking it ..... he relished teh attention he got when he was "hurt" and wanted more more more ....... they are so smart :p |
If it's a rear leg, it could be a patella or kneecap problem. It can be fine minute and then pop out and be painful the next. Jumping off couches or high objects can exacerbate the condition or cause it. I hope it is nothing serious and he recovers and is back to himself quickly. |
This has happened to me too and I took Simon to the vet and it turned out to be a little sprain, the vet said he would be fine in a few days and he was. It is very scary and I hope he is ok! We send lots of get well wishes! |
thanks everyone! i am going to the vet tomorrow at 7;30-right b4 school ;) he seems ok but i want to check it out... i will keep u all posted |
They can also get sprained legs just like we can. If the problem persists, go to a vet, sometimes they can just "play" it off when they are younger, as it happened to my Yoda a few times before... |
I'm sorry to hear about Rex :( I hope he\'s ok!! |
i think u should take him to the vet he may have sprained it or something keep us posted |
Poor baby! Hope he feels better soon! |
