they got her Sat what should i tell them to do? they haven't taken her to the vet yet they have 7 days. i don't want to offend them should i just let it go? |
hurry and take her to the vet! im sure they wont refund money on size tho just on health issues |
tell them that getting them checked for the health guarantee is super important! |
well with all these issues that they have i'm scared because she was on my floor and Daisy was out i just hope to god she doesn't have parvo or something:eek: I feel bad for them i just don't want to be rude but i just feel they will be sorry |
I have learned so much here i don't want to sound like a know it all but my heart is screaming for me to tell them. i wish i could get info on their kennel like the name and stuff but i don't think they have a name? |
Oh and BTW thank you so much for your help!!! |
no problem and just explain that getting them checked within 7 days for the health guarantee could save them tons of money and suffering. just explain to them more on what it is maybe they will understand because you have a yorkie! also from what i read from the inspection report the kennel is FFF kennel thats the name of the kennel they own |
OMG, HOPE EVERYTHIN WORK OUT GOOD FOR YOU OR YOUR FRIEND, JUST BECARFUL HOW YOU CHOOSE YOUR WORDS WITH THEM. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT A PUPPY MILL, BUT ALSO KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOUGHT DOGS FROM THEM WITH OUT THEY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT, AND SOME ARE BAD (HEALTH ISSUES ETC) AND OTHERS FINE, HOPEFULLY THEY GOT A GOOD ONE AND THE PUPPY GOT A GOOD HOME.:goodluck: |
It seems to me that your friend doesn't want to hear anything negative about his puppy so I think you should just let them go right on and learn from their mistakes. No use in you stressing out over it. It's clear they don't want your help so you ought to just let it go. especially since they already have thee puppy. They will value your opinion next time. |
I didn't know anything about puppy mills until we started research on getting a puppy, but I never owned an animal before last year. I never thought about buying from a pet shop, only because I always thought most of them looked sick. My hubby & I did do research for a year before deciding to get Misha. I have a sm library on books & tons of websites we subcribed to. We didn't go out one day & come home with a pet. I even pet sat for a couple that had a maltese for 2 weeks, while they were on vacation. After joining this site I found out how much a Yorkie is similar to a Maltese, health wise. Piper being both (maltese & yorkie) is how I came to find this site. I needed more information on yorkies. Which I think yorkies are more active. When I go into petshops & see all the people that are buying puppies, I don't think most people know where their coming from either. All they see is how cute they look. Sounds to me your friends don't really know what they are getting into, & it also sounds like their little one isn't going to stay little long. |
Well i think i will just give them what info i have and let them decide what to do. I wouldn't be so involved if i didn't know that this store gets the dogs from mills but they do. i feel bad enough because i know i offended them last night with my big no it all mouth i was so worked up last night about brushy creek i'm on a vendeta to save someone. I just need to keep my big mouth shut. |

good luck to you and i hope your friend will listen to you. try telling them to ck out this site |
puppy What can you do...the pup is bought and unless there is a "return for any reason policy", they are stuck. People have to take responsiblity for bad decisions...would you believe a puppy that weighted in at 2 1/2 pounds at 10 weeks will only gain 8 ounces adn be full growth????? They will be lucky if it stops at 7 or 8 pounds... |
Call it into the Humane Society, and they might be able to close them down. |
