yorkie ad ?? is champion bloodlines and being under $1000 a good thing for a 8 wk male yorkie? |
The price depends on alot more than if he has Champion bloodlines. Where at in the pedigree are the champions, what size is the puppy, does he meet the AKC standard, how is his temperament, is he healthy and what about his parents? Lots of things to consider. |
Champion/$$$ I can't speak for anyone else but in my opinion just because a dog of any breed has champion bloodlines doesn't mean that the dog in question in a quality dog. Bloodline are nice but its more important to me to have a healthy and proper look that shows what that breed should be like. The price isn't bad but please don't base your decision solely on the bloodline aspect alone. Ask questions of the person that is offering this baby, find out about shots and worming, health background on the parents this such as bite, knee's (patella's) just to name a few. You can save all the money in the world or spend that same amount and still if the person selling you the puppy you are looking at isn't honest, Well... Then all the best bloodlines in the country are not going to give you a happy healthy furbaby. This is just MY OPINION and this is what I tell people that come to me for a little one, "Please don't just take my word on it call other breeders call AKC call your vet" |
thanks! they have shots and been wormed. i jusy thought i would ask ya'll to see what ya'll thought. i don't know if i want to call or not. my husband just told me yesterday i could get another yorkie.:D its my anniversary gift. i want one of quaility this time and possible show. so i was just wondering. i know ya'll may think i'm crazy for wanting another one so soon after getting my first. i just want to get it now so they can grow up together and i can do the potty training at the same time. i don't know i might call just to see what is up! thanks again:cool: |
