Water bottle stand?
 
We're recent converts to a water bottle instead of the bowl, and we do like it, BUT----The girls have already broken two of the thingies that held the bottle to the xpen and the one on the wall in the kitchen:mad: They're not all that sturdy I guess.

Anyone know where I can get a nice sturdy, freestanding water bottle stand?

Is this one too big? We use it for our 3 and when our friends Aussie comes she slurps out of it and does not tip it over. We have the XS. This is from Petco and I think it's on sale now for under $10.

Thanks, those are all GREAT!!!!:thumbup: I'm gonna decide which one to order and I'll let everyone know what I think of it:D I'm definitely getting one of those converter things for the xpen, that's SWEET!:thumbup:

Thanks, but I was talking about the bottle type, like hamsters use, only bigger:laugh: It keeps their water, their faces, and my floors clean:) I was changing their water 3 or 4 times a day and it gets old when they have 3 bowls throughout the house:p Plus I feed distilled water, so a lot was getting wasted. That's why we switched, once I saw others here used the bottles, I was hooked:thumbup:

I've got a food one for their kibbbles, though, it's the tiny one:D

OK, I didn't think that I lived in the sticks...maybe I just don't shop enough. I like those.

I really like the looks of that first one, but the price is outrageous! I think it could be made from some pvc pipe. Thanks for the good idea!

OK, I'm a little slow tonight. I give mine filtered water in the house. Then they go out in the yard and drink from a puddle. When we go down to the Lake (Michigan) they love the flavor of that....and you know what fish do in the lake.:eek:

I bought the water bottle converter and when I went to set it up on my gate I came back and all the water was on the floor. What size bottle of water do you use? I think that might be where I went wrong:confused:

Tiger's Mom sells great water feeders at http://go.fetch.home.comcast.net/ They attach securely to the side of an ex-pen or crate, baby gate, etc. Just go to the products link. They are listed on the left near the bottom of the page.

In one of 'em I use just a regular old Aquafina plastic bottle and the other is the bottle from a small animal bottle. I haven't had problems with either one of 'em leaking....
