Trying to Exercise and the Monkeys Won't Let Me
 
Ok so I got out my pilates DVD's and tried to do one this afternoon (I usually do belly dancing)! First of all the yoga mat was mistaken as a blanket so I had to get them off of it, they were rolling all over. Then apparently me on the floor means LET'S PLAY! I was doing the workout while Simon was shoving his ball in my face and Hallie was laying on my stomach!

They are so silly! To get back at them I got my stability ball out of the closet, for some reason Simon is scared of the "giant ball" hehehee

My Rocky is the same way i try to do exercise and he's at my feet or trying to nip at me he somehow thinks im playing with him. When i pull up my chair in front of the sofa to do my sit ups he jumps on the sofa and sits on my lap blow air in his face so he can move lol:D you gotta love em though

LMAO - Ferdinand is the same way!! He always decides to try to take a nap on my stomach or play tug-of-war with the resistence bands.

My boy Bentley is deathly afraid of my exercise ball too! We've affectionately named it his arch nemesis!

I hear ya! I have to put Maggie Mae in her crate while I workout...otherwise, anything on the mat is impossible. Nothing like lots of licks and kisses while you're trying to sit ups! LOL!!:yelrotflm

I had the exact same problem when I tried to do pilates while Chloe was running around. So finally I took apart her xpen, and created a barrier around me so she couldn't get in. So basically, I'm in her pen!

I have the same problems. I always end up kicking one of them (accidentally, of course). And Max HATES the giant ball too. He goes nuts--even more than when he sees a vacuum

I know exactly what you mean. I have a TotalBody machine and whenever I attempt to do it with my girls around they sit next to it by my face to try to lick me or worse they jump on my stomach when I least expect it (since its low) and want to play with me. And I mean both at the same time, its like they are wanting me to spend those extra 15 minutes with Them and not exercising..:p
