Taking your pet to work I've noticed that quite a few people are able to bring their babies in to work with them. Where do you work or what type of jobs allow you to bring your dog in? |
I would also like to know this. Unfortunately that isn't a possibility for me, so I'm quite jealous of those that can!! |
I work as a bookkeeper/office manager/secretary for a construction company...as the only 1 in the office I am able to bring Maximus with me...and pray that he has no accidents....BUT..I limit this to 1x a week because they can drive a sane person abosolutely nutty when you are trying to do work and play/watch your baby at the same time...lol...and I don't want to be frustrated with trying to do work/clienst etc..and him to think I am mad at him...but he enjoys coming even if to drive me insane..lol.....also my bf is home 2 days during the week and I am home on weekends..so the only 2 days that he is alone its only for 3 hours till bf goes home and feeds him/play with him for and hour (lunch break) and then another 4 hrs. till I get home and he gets all the attention |
I'm jealous too! I have often thought of opening my own pet friendly business just so I could spend the day with my babies ;) |
My parents own thier own business, and i work for them, so they let me have charlie in the office. So i am with him all day everday. he has a little blanket and sleeps most of the day. (My avatar that is at work) |
I take mine in but we own our business and I have my own office. I put up a baby gate so they can see everyone who comes in and they love that because all day long we have peple in to tan & use the gym and get massages and manicure/pedicures and to see my husband the chiropractor. So they are little social bugs but Max is still more scared of people so I guess they are like people and some are just more shy than others!! they really don't like long days tho and prefer to be home where they have more room to run around! |
I have taken mine to work many times, especially when she was very tiny, and on days when she is sick, and I can't leave her alone. I work for an adoption agency, and I have a very large office of my own where I can close the door. I have a couch and chair, and she will sleep on the chair. I have only taken her once when I actually had an appointment with clients in my office. She was pretty sick that day and just slept quietly in her kennel. I am not sure what my supervisors would say, but they work 50 miles away. My co-workers bring their babies (real) occasionally, and another co-worker has brought her dog one or two times. We are all pretty comfortable with it. However, I am afraid of the day I am told by my supervisor that I can't do it anymore.:animal-pa |
I do cleaning in a church and can bring mine along. The other day Brea pooped on the carpet... just as my boss was leaving.. It was pretty funny!!! I told him I was NOT going to clean up after him. |
I work as an insurance claims rep. We only have 3 people in the office including me. My boss is more of a friend than a boss and is very laid back. He has cats, but Gracie is rapidly trying to convert him! She just loves him and gets so excited when she gets to go to work with mom and visit with everyone! |
Well, I work at my dad's law firm-- so he kinda likes having "grandpup" around! |
i own a property management company and am able to take maggie everywhere I go. when I am at the office, maggie is always with me. the "customers" love it. she does sleep almost all day. she has her own chair with a blankie and snoozes until time to go home. |
My husband owns his own business so we bring Princess there alot and also I work pt at First Citizens bank and they let me bring her there (not really all day though). Alot of dogs come in there with the customers!! you gotta love a bank that is dog friendly:) |
