I made Lula PJ's!
 
I've got the sewing bug and just bought my first machine and I made Lula and Bentley so far PJ's and Bent a 4 legged double fleece coat.. it didn't turn out well in pics though. It's only my first day sewing and I'm getting the hang of it!!

Here's some pics of Lula and one of me and her.. (I've been sewing in pj's all day so I'm not looking glamorous) :)

Great job on the jammies, I know you are going to really enjoy your sewing machine, and so is Lula and Bentley reaping all the many pretty things you will be making for them :happyboun :happyboun. Say, I think you look very pretty in that picture, I admire you in wanting to sew for them. I also sew for Baby Blessing. Wishing you a wonderful day and years of happy sewing.

Thanks so much for the nice words everyone!! I'm still trying to figure out patterns and how to read them because they're still hard for me, but I hope to keep progressing :)

She's actually a lhasa/bichon mix! I have two other yorkie mix puppies and am looking to get a full yorkie this summer ! :)

Thanks so much!! I used Simplicity's Pattern #3939 and I did style B. :)

I have to say, you do have a nac for making pj's. I tried to make them one time and I just couldn't get them to fit right. I even put the ribbing around the neck and feet. Mine always manage to get right out of them. There has to be a catch to this. :D

I really want to start adding the ribbing because I think that makes them look so much more finished. I heard that you can buy it predone..but I'm not sure what it's called, hehe.

It's just called ribbing. Ask the ones who work in the store. Our Wal-Mart doesn't sell it so I have to drive 15 miles to get it from Betty's in Santa Maria.

Thanks so much! My stitches weren't perfect though so until I get better at perfect hems and stuff I'll just have to keep trying them out on my furbabies, hehe!
