How many CC's are in a teaspoon??? Can someone please tell me how many cc's are in 1 teaspoon? |
There are 5cc's in a teaspoon. 15cc's in a tablespoon. Hope that Helps!!! Kasey & Baby Annie :) |
5 cc's or ml per teaspoon. |
cc's and ml's are the same measure. There are 5 cc's or ml's in a teaspoon. There are also approx. 20 drops in a cc/ml. hth :) |
Thanks so much !!!! Sooooooo (I want to make sure I do this right) if the dosage is 1 full teaspoon per 5 lbs of body weight..... I'd give how much for a 1lb 13 oz baby? (Sorry - I so suck in math!) |
What ever your giving him the Vet. should have broken it down for you. I hope your not planning on giving your baby people medicine without consulting with a Vet. first. |
double check this but i think There are 5 cc in one teaspoon |
Okay so I am in pharmacy school now and I just took a class on calculating doses, and this is what I come up with; your baby weights 29 ounces (16 ounces in a pound) and 5 lbs would be 80 ounces so 29 ounces x 5ml/80 ounces equals 1.81 ml. (if you want to understand the math ounces cancel out and leave you with ml) so approx. 2 ml is one dose for your baby! Hope this helps!! |
Please becareful what ever you are giving please consult a vet or pharmacist and then recheck it please my baby Daisy is in the hospital right now from an overdose because of the pharmacy and she almost died please becareful!!!! And yes there are 5 ml in one teaspoon. BTW what are you giving her? 1tsp is a lot for a tiny baby please check this again. |
Thank you! Thats .20 cc's correct? |
I'm a breeder and my breeding mentor was advising me on my worming medicine and I just wanted to double check the dosage, and post here to get everyone elses input. So I was being very careful by posting here as a double check :) Thats how over careful I am! She's been breeding for 40 years!!! Yes, I'm VERY careful. I'm sorry to hear your little one is not well. I will send a prayer her way and please let us know how she's doing ! Quote:

you are only giving 1.81 ml or 1.81 cc same thing! you are not giving a full teaspoon only about 1/3 of a teaspoon. I don't think that should be too much for her body weight. If the dose for a 5 lb dog is one teaspoon. Also I am a pharmacist in training and would never tell you this if I was not 100% positive about the calculation! Not to toot my horn or anything but I received an A in calculations. |
TOOT TOOT!!!!!!!If I ever received an A in a math class I would have definately tooted my own horn. I suck at math too. |
