Orijen kibble Yesterday I went to buy Mollie some fresh kibble and the shop had samples of Orijen. Has anyone used this? Package says "biologically appropriate" 70% - veterinary inspected meat 30% - fruit, vegetables & botanicals 0% grain. - no grains, corn, glutens, by products, artifical preservatives, oxides, sulfates, GMO Sample was only $1.99 for 400 g (0.88lbs) but before I buy a large bag just wanted to check if anyone has heard of it. Thanks Judy |
sorry I can't help never heard of it before...but bumping this up so maybe someone will that has used it....:) |
I have heard of it. Its manufactured in Alberta, Canada. A high protein food with appropriate amount of calcium. It is gaining popularity rapidly and is said to have the same quality as Inova EVO but lower in terms of prices. Also, it is baked at low temperature. Its manufactured by Champion Pet Foods. Their website is http://www.championpetfoods.com/orijen/orijen/. |
I'd like to bump this because I am planning to switch Siu Pao from Canidae to Orijen for rotation after he finishes his current Canidae bag. I heard it is a high protein food just like Innova EVO with good amount of calcium. I currently feed Siu Pao Canidae dry mixed with egg, cottage cheese, some veggie and a little cooked food from www.caninecuisine.com because IMO it is better than buying can food and the price is actually lower compared to can food. Of course, I always ration his food in accordance to his need and not to overfeed. To those who knows and read up about dog food quality etc, what do you think of this brand? |
Thanks Thanks for the replies. I just went and bought a larger bag. Molly really likes it. (Thank goodness) Judy |
