Cat Toys? Do your guys play with cat toys? When Woody was smaller, I couldn't find any tug of war toys that were small enough for him, so I bought a cat toy that had ropes on it. It's his favorite toy, now. His other favorite toys are all cat toys, too, as well as a couple of skin-baby toys - rattles, plastic keys, etc. What about your furbabies? |
Yep, Jeter would steal all the cats' toys from them. He preferred them to his own toys. I think the size was the major factor. |
Gracie steals the kitty toys every chance she gets. The only problem is that she tears them to shreds. I don't want her to swallow the strings and feathers for fear she might get an obstruction, so I monitor closely what she is playing with and take away the dangerous items. |
I also heard if it has catnip in it, it is harmful to dogs. I just heard this, I didn't read it. So I wonder if there is truth to this. |
Good point about the catnip. I was afraid of this, and had heard this, so I asked my vet. He told me there would be no problem for the puppy playing with a catnip toy. Jeter has been playing with them for over a year and the catnip does not affect him at all. |
catnip wont hurt a dog at all. If you need small toys, just make them. It's so easy. They even sell the plastic squeekers in target and such to use. |
