"goodness" stories
 

we hear so much bad stuff happening to animals all the time and thought it was time to talk about some of the good things..

I work as and airport parking cashier. not a job a lot of people would jump for but here in the valley if you don't speak 2 languages you got no choice. I just wanted a job to pay for my health insurance. and it is ok for me. good hrs. bla bla bla.... well .. tonight I was taking this ladies $1.75 when i saw a couple of dogs in her car. I usually keep some home made dog biscuits there for the dogs that pass thru. I said "oh, can I give them a biscuit? she said "you have biscuits"? I said "yes, I made them yesterday morning."
she hands me a $10 bill and says "keep the rest for your baking business". I quickly respond and say, "no no, I dont have a business" and go to hand her her change. she said no just keep the money and make some more and give to the humane society. I thanked her and mentioned that I had made some gruffle balls and donated to humane society. she digs in her purse and gives me more money and said to make more and donate those too.

wasn't that nice of her??? I forgot to get her name! I most definately will be making more biscuits and balls to take to the humane society and .. her money, every penny of it.

there are good people out there isn't there?

does anyone have a 'goodness' story?

Sounds like there are two (2) good people in this story....

I don't have any good dog stories but, this is a very good one...There aren't many good people left out there anymore...what a nice gesture on her part.

thank you, I love giving dogs gifts! I have one dog that comes thru there that thinks I am his 'treat station'. :rolleyes:
I also have one that his owner says "better let me give it to him ... he bites."

isn't it wonderful how some people jump right in there to help out another with nothing in it for themselves but to know that a furbaby gets a chance to be happy? :thumbup:

you come home you look me up. you know where to find me! bring your yorkie or any animal and I will give you a biscuit.... and your little doggy too! LOL:D LOL
