IMO 4000 dollars is a extreme amt of money to pay for a pet puppy. I don't care what part of the country you are in I think anything over 2000 is high for a pet quality pup. You can buy a quality pup with a health guarantee from any show breeder for way less than that. I hope if you are buying a baby you will consider that option and look at the YTCA list of breeders to start. |
I'm with Villette on this. Do check it out. It looks like it's an older pic of when she was younger. Isn't her hair too short for 9 mos? But that one for $4000, she's a real doll. Seems like they know it too! Did it say how old she was, she doesn't look like she's no 12 wk old. Sylvia |
$4000 did I see this on the comp right??? :eyeballpc I think you can find great puppies even small ones for way cheaper than $4000. I would keep looking there are sooo many honest great breeders that sell thier pups for less. Sometimes pics cna be decieving. Thats how they get people sometimes. I love this website please check this one out. Some pups are like4000 but if you look there tons of cuter ones on there for less. I alway love looking at the pics on her site. She always updates too. I think another person on here has purchased a pup from her I cant remember her name though. Maybe if you post it about her she will reply back about her exp. http://www.starlightsyorkies.com/forsale.html |
Wow $4000, I paid $550 and I thought that was high. People still look at me like i'm crazy when I tell them that, But Gucci isn't a little one. But I bet she is worth every penny. I wish I was rich then I could say "$4000, that's chump change!" :D |
Where did you see that puppy? I swear I've seen that second photo before. (perhaps on puppyfind.com??) She is adorable, but that is a lot of money. I would never pay that much. I think the puppy that is $1,000 is just as adorable!! I would get the $1,000 puppy because I would know that for the amount of money that someone else will spend on the first puppy, that I would have 4 yorkies if I paid that much!! |
Both pups are adorable...but I agree...the second pup seems a lot younger then 9 months in that photo... |
I just want to get an idea about the size she will be ! I just got my yorkie 3 weeks ago she is amazing. She weights 1.8 at 4 months and i want to know how big she will get. did anyone buy a puppie that weighted the same at 4 month? how did it turn out ? |

You think 4000 is bad. You should check out these websites http://wizardofclaws.com/yorkies.htm they had one on there for $10,000 that was pending... now she is gone.. must of been sold. |

I saw that baby for $10,000. I want to know what makes her worth so much. She's not the tiniest one on the net that I have seen. She wasn't Champion blood lines nor Champion sired. Why? And she's not the first one I've seen for that outrageous price. Course I don't know if the other one was from the same breeder, but somebody seems to be getting rich. Sylvia |
There are ads in the paper here in Owensboro, KY for Yorkie pups - one ad says $500.00 males $550.00 females, I believe. Check the Messenger Inquirer online website for the classified ad for those of you who may be interested. Kim |
