It takes time to learn how to cut nails right and feel confident doing it. For the small dogs, use cat scissor nail clippers. It is better suited for their small nails. And sitting by the light works too, I can see their quick when I do it that way. Remember if you aren't comfortable cutting the nails, just trim off a tiny bit each time and file it if you want. Alot of times your dog can even tell you when you are getting to close by pulling away or flenching. |
