I gave my boy a couple of treats and siad I was sorry I had to go to work. He hates when I leave and I do too. |
This is so funny. My Cooper is the same way. I work at home and every morning I have to fight him to get dressed. He will pull at my pants legs or try to grab my socks. Then when I lace my shoes, he will untie the one that is tied and attack the other foot if I put one up. I try to sneek in my room but he will not let me out of his sight. He sits in my office and will whine for me to pick him up. I have even put a pillow and toys in my office. But he thinks he needs to be in my lap........Oh it just breaks my heart when I do have to leave home and he has to stay behind. |

Leaving Daily When I put Bogey's belly band on, he know his treat is next !! He gets a chicken strip ( his most favorite in the world) & a carrot. He knows I'm gone & not coming back for a while & doesn't sit at the door forever.:animal36 |

I give Gizmo big hugs and tell him I love him. He then jumps on the back of the sofa to watch me thru the window leaving. When I drive up in the evening he's at the same window waiting and before I can get to the door I can hear the familiar thump thump of him jumping for the doorknob. My kids are here all day with him, but when I come home it's like "Where the hell have you been?" Guess there's no replacement for Mom. ;) |
Funny you should ask this question. Cause I always tell Lillie I love her and I will miss her. Well my 16 year old was on the couch and says "gosh mom, you dont say that stuff to me" lol ohh my goodness, my family is so jealous of Lillie! lol |
Ohhhhhh......now this makes me sad... I know you don't mean this thread like this.....but, when someone asks a question like that.......I think how much I take for granted when I leave home......like when I travel, or take the kids to school...... I need to realize that anything can happen in the course of a day......and I need to NOT take things for granted anymore.....and give kisses a lot more.....
