how many pounds is the dog? |
well i get her on valentines and she is the runt, teeeeny tiny. breeder said she'll get to about 4 lbs. tops? |
It's always better to measure the furkid and order/buy a harness using the measurements. That way you know for sure. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW BABY!!!!! |
on valentines!!! how great!!!! well to be honest it is really hard to tell from looking at the pics but, my bella is 4.5 pounds and it looks like it would fit her.(but she is skinny..hehe) her little yorkie friend is about 3.5 pounds and he has had the same harness since he was born. they just adjust the harness. i think from the looks of that one it will adjust perfectly.....:) any other questions feel free to ask!!! |

I had that harness for my Luna, who was 2 lbs when I got her. She quickly outgrew it, and I didn't like it because it put pressure on her neck. There's nothing attaching the two loops on the belly area, so the neck one tends to press into their throat:( I'd take it back and get a step-in harness. I got one at PetSmart;) |

I bought this harness from Mitzis Mom and its fully adjustable. Maybe she can help you out. Here's some pictures of it http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66295 |
I like the fabric harnesses. They keep all the pressure off the neck and are cute too. Try http://go.fetch.home.comcast.net/ -- she makes some great harness vests. You can even get a little ruffle added if you want. |
i prefer the step in harness,, very easy to put on and take off |
I second the motion for a step in harness. If you have one, it will be the only one you use.:) |
