I'm arguing with a dog! How silly is that? I had 'the big talk' with Riley today, we've had this talk before so he knew it was coming and it was time to take action. He is potty trained to use a litter pan with a wee-wee pad or to go outside so I told him it's time to be a big boy, give up the pads and just go outside. I cleaned his litter pan and put it aside...I put his big red pillow bed in it's place and he's been chewing me out ever since! I mean, he stands there stomping his little feet, barking at me and looking at the pillow, he won't let me pick him up and he doesn't want outside. Now he's over there checking out the litter pan that's up on the bench. I keep telling him he knew it was coming but he just barks at me and looks at the spot where his pan used to be. I can't believe I'm trying to reason with with a dog...I've lost it! |
OMG, that is too funny! Just last night I had a similar talk with Hoku about me putting her food and water up in the evening because she keeps waking me up to go potty. She had a major hissy fit and kept going to her placemat and stomping her feet. Her daddy finally said 'enough, feed this baby' so I gave her some food and water and she was fine. The little s**t! |

Funny how they don't give in and get up to take them potty twice a night - LOL! |

Aw your little Riley sounds so cute and smart. That had to be just so funny |
Maybe I'm expecting too much from her at 11 1/2 weeks? BTW, what about your other boy Jo-Jo, he didn't complain about you putting up the pee pad and box? |
Yes, chachi...Riley is pretty smart and he appears to be a thinker...at least he doesn't think of bad things to do though! No, Jo doesn't complain. He never liked the wee-wee pads...he used them a couple times when he was little and then one day he tore one up right in front of me, sat on top of it and looked at me like 'what are you gonna do about that Mom?' and he's refused to use them since. |
Your boys are hilarious, must be fun at your house:) |
