He melts the stress away Last Friday was a horrible day at work. Short staffed, busy with patients, etc. But, when I got home I put Cody's jammies on and he snuggled up on my chest just under my chin for more than an hour and we loved and talked. He just melted the stress away. He can be such a little terror at times but it is times like that one last Friday that make having him worth all his behavior problems. My heart aches for him when we are not together. Only another person owned by a Yorkie knows what I am talking about. They are indeed special!:) |
It should not surprise anyone especially since dogs were put here on earth to be our best friend and to take care of *us*. We are only their caretakers. ;) |

Your absolutely right. I love opening the door at night and having that face peer out! Who else would be there waiting to give you a kiss before you even get your foot in the door? They are special for sure. I love the thought of your little one in his PJ's. I have to chase and yell at Buddy to put his coat on. I just cuddle up to hair! LOL Carol & Buddy |
i wish lexi would snuggle up to my chest, but if she did, she would break it.. shes like a brick when she lays on me... she stops my breathing. im totally jealous..... |

A yorkie gives so much love and comfort just by being themselves. I look at Sawyer, and that cute face, and adoring eyes turn me into a happy relaxed person, no matter what the day has held for me. I am so blessed to have this little wonder in my life. I waited two years to find the right one for me, and he was certainly worth every minute of the wait.:ghug: |

I work at the hospital and the stress can be terrible, I come home and chester spins in circles and then jumps on the bed with his hand made stool and gives me kisses, and after we go out we cuddle and play and chases the stress away, I cant imagine life without him, I talk to him just like a baby, and I would do anything for him that I possbily could |
Yorkies are better than pills!!! After Patrick's heart attack, it's like his entire personality changed and understandably so. He has never been impatient, short-tempered, etc., until now. I, of course, watch him like a hawk! :p I totally understand that it was life changing for both of us but just recently noticed the change in Toto!! Evidently she senses if he has had a really stressful day or is extremely tired. She is so sweet and attentive and can hardly wait to settle down on his chest or cuddle in his arms. She will sometimes just gaze deep into his eyes and then start slowly licking him! You can see the stress of his day draining away!! It's amazing! :p If it didn't sound so ridiculous, I would have her certified as his Service Dog .... but then again, how would I ever explain what she does?!? ;) |
