Husband outraged!
 
One of my husband's horseshoeing clients was looking for his number on the net. somehow, inadvertantly the customer found Yorkietalk and a photo of hubby and Phoebe. He said I'm ruining his reputation as a manly man! Teehee! I think it's great that all you daddy's love the little furbabies! As a matter of fact, I KNOW Phoebe prefers Mike over me... Now I got him back for stealing her affection from me....

Isn't it funny? Makes me want to post another pic of him, but he forbade me. And since he's funding my next baby, I better respect it. Can't complain, he's pretty darn good to me!

It's not the size of the dog that makes a manly man a man:confused: it's how proud he is when he poses for YT pictures:eek: !!!!!

Thanks for sharing! Remind your manly man the farrier that REAL MEN CAN SNOOZLE UP WITH A YORKIE!

...btw my hubby is a farrier too!

Actually, I don't have new one on the way yet. I'm still in the dreaming/planning stage. but hubby did say I could have a few sometime in the future... teehee. Phoebe does need a playmate. We are leaving Fri. for Disneyworld and got that paid off. So we have to save up for a new baby. He's pretty quick about saving once we have a plan, though. so I just have to find the perfect mate for Phoebe.

Tell your hubby ..... "Real men don't feel that their masculinity is threatened by loving a little dog"!!!! :p There isn't a more "manly man" on the face of this earth than my Patrick and he loves Toto with all his heart, proudly carries her in public [regardless what's she's wearing! :rolleyes: ], and doesn't care what anyone says [if they dare!! :) ]. IMO .... one of the most sexy qualities a man can have is .... not being ashamed to cry at a sad movie, reminding others with "pottymouths" that they are in the presence of his wife and not caring what anyone thinks because he loves his little Toto!!!! ;)

My Hubby is a former Special Forces member who served in Viet Nam.Six foot,195lbs. He'll take his girl anywhere ,wearing anything.He's like a proud papa.

This is funny but I am wondering how this man found you at Yorkie Talk...Did he just type your hubby's name in and up popped YT? Some people post very personal stuff on here, I always wondered how privet it is if some one went looking for you...I guess they can find stuff you didn't think they could! I don't get tooo personal for this reason!

It was a woman, first of all... and she is not a member here, nor does she own yorkies. She just told him he had a cute dog, and he was like, "what? how do you know what my dog looks like?"

I tried googling his name and didn't come up with yorkie talk at all! I was very surprised she found it, since I haven't put his name on anything on here. Maybe she saw my name, though, and followed it?

Today as my husband & I were dropping off our girl for her spay the vet tech was explaining some things to us; I turned to my husband as I handed her our little Cricket and guess who was tearing up???? That's right, my hubby...all 6'1" 270 lbs of him!!!

my manly man ex loved our baby yorkie sooo much he would video record him after his bath, when he went to bed! hahaha It took me about 3 years to convince to let me get a dog and then he wanted a BIG manly man dog! I wanted my yorkie, I won (of course) and he loved that dog and cuddled him ALL the time! haha

My guy now loves my boys! Hes a manly man also and he worries about them as much as I do! Actually he makes me laugh sometimes bc he does not live with me/them, nor do we 'joint' own them, but you would think we did. He treats them like they have a say in the matter! Then again, I guess they do! hahaha

My hubby just tells his 'manly' buddies that our yorkies are 'chick magnets'. That usually shuts them up. I swear, if I didn't trust my hubby so much, I have problems. Every time we go to Petsmart and he's holding a yorkie, he's pretty much surrounded by women!!!:eek: :D

HEE! My husband, a redneck country boy, didn't get to see Mazie before I dropped her off to get spayed. He kept saying, "I didn't even get to tell her I loved her before she went!", and he worried to death about her just thinking that we'd abandoned her, etc. I got to the point that even I was like, "Get a GRIP, man"! :D

lol. My husband is always rolling his eyes at me when other people are around for baby talking to the dogs, playing tag with them & all the other crazy stuff I do. I always threaten to get out "The Pics" I have pics of him giving rides on his back, all of them sleeping on the recliner-proof that he is crazy as me :D So he shuts up. I am involved in rescue & he gets attached really fast. At first he says another dog....by that evening they are cuddled in the recliner & he is saying we better just keep this one. As the applications come in I run the ones I like by him so that he feels better about it & knows there are other good homes out there. Men & their feelings.......:p lol

Honestly, he doesn't deny he loves her! He does get embarassed to hold her in public if she's wearing a "silly" (adorable) dress.... He even altered our remodel plans to accomodate puppies.... Instead of carpeting the living room, we are going to put laminate down throughout the downstairs so we will have safe puppy space for "accidents".... This from the man who used to call little dogs Rat dogs... He thought my 17 lb. sheltie was a rat dog.

teehee...don't think badly of him... he treats her very well....
