Phew..........I was a late comer into this "Traveling With Gwen Show". I must admit I was becoming giddy and a little dizzy tracking down the happy ending! And what a happy ending to say the least. I am really glad that Gwen has a new forever home. After a little time she will feel right at home. If you ever need to get a train (I think thats what you all called it :o)) going again - I'm in Akron, Ohio and would help in any way I can. Best of luck to the new owners and to ALL involved in getting this little one home. |

Ok. I had to leave work early just to come home and see how things were going. I wanted to thank EVERYONE here on YT. Each and every one of you are just awesome. Thanks to all who watched and prayed for her safe return. Thanks to DaisyMae for getting her a ride with Hewi. Big thanks to Peanut for sending the money up front. And thank you Yorkie Shadow for all the support. I know you are feeling down, but you can rest assured that she is in great hands. And anytime you want more pics or more info on her just pm me and I will gladly tell you anything. I want you to still feel as though a big part of you is with her. The three of you are offial Aunties to Gwen. Wish you all lived closer so we could have playdates. Gwen is very lucky to have the YT members as family. Every memeber on this site is great. I also want to say a big thanks to MOMMY. Don't think I forgot you. I am so glad to have you and I hope you know how much you are appreciated. I remember when you brought me Sapphire home, and you kept her the first night too, of course then you didnt want to give her back.I'm glad you kept Gwen last night so she didnt have to be alone her first night home. I know she's been through so much. I couldn't have done this without you. I saw the new pics of her and she looks great. I can't wait to put Randi on the bus so I can come get her. Thanks bigtime mom. |
Ok One more thing, see you guys wanted t see me on here more often right???? Now you won't be able to shut me up. Just wanted to say, I just looked at the video, and anyone who didnt see it has definately got to click that link. She is so cute on there. Tilting her head back and forth almost like she was wondering what the heck mom was doing. She is precious. I can't wait until she's better so she can play with her new sister Sapphire, and cousins dixie, and peanut. Thans again everyone. |

Ok I know I said that was the last one but I was gonna send Suzanne a pm thanking her but I didnt want everyone on here to think I didnt thank the biggest person of all so I stopped the pm to post in here. HUGE THANKS TO SUZANNE. I'm sure you are missing her already. You have my number, you can call me anytime. Or Pm me. I was wondering also, I took her to the vet yesterday and realized I don't know any of her information. I tried calling you and left a message. I was just wondering if you knew her date of birth, and the dates of her last vaccinations and rabies vaccination? They asked me that stuff at the vet, and I am to call them when I know so they can put it in her chart. Again Thank you so much! We love her so much already. |
Welcome home little Gwen! Congrats on your new baby girl, i had to check in first thing this morning, to read, and catch up. I wonder how she slept? I know mom said she was gonna sleep with Gwen last night. I wonder how she slept. Hope mom was able to sleep. I know I can't because I can't wait to get back to moms. I can't believe how different she looks after her bath. What a turn around. |
I'm sobbing huge happy tears... This is just so wonderful. She's a beautiful tiny little baby and she's so lucky to have found such a loving mommy and grandma. I hope she feels better soon. Eye gook: Ginger has LOTS of allergies, and a times eye gook can be a problem. When it's bad, I use warm wash clothes 2-3 times a day. Eventually the hardened stuff will soften up, just keep at it! |

I have been following this story from day one. All I can say is wow! What a team of dedicated Yorkie/animal lovers on this site. I am so proud to be apart of it. Congratulations to you. Hello, She is a gorgeous little girl. To help with the gook under her eyes, I clean my pets eyes with Eye Clear. I saturate the area and then I use a small mustache comb to clean the gunk out of the hair and it comes out quite easily. Or any type of really fine toothed comb. But I like the mustache comb because it is very little and I can get right under the eyes. If you could find a small doll comb like for Barbie or something that would be good too. Hope this helps. Wow! look at that gorgeous shiney coat! she looks so pretty. i'm so glad you guys got her home safe. The video of her is adorable. tapeworms: make sure she doesn't have fleas. I'm not sure how she got the tape worms but they can either come from eating something gross outside or they can come from fleas. eye goop: try the warm water soap and the flea comb/eyelash comb combo. Also, I've read on here that Apple Cider Vineger in their drinking water can help prevent the goop from leaving stains. Tho since she has eye problems the goop might just be too much. Try it. It can't hurt. Teeth: Try petzlife on her teeth. http://www.sassypup.net/ carries it in a combo pack of gel plus spray. She'd he an excellent candidate to try this out on. It has worked wonders for some dogs. it gets rid of tarter without a vet dental and without vigorous teeth brushing and scaling. Since she's had such a rough time already i'd try this first before having to take her to the vet to have her put under for a scaling. |
Chrissy she is beautiful....Gwen you are a sweetheart...I am so happy that you got her, she is going to bring so much joy to you & your mom's life...I am just glad she is home and everything worked...She holds a special place in my heart...I am just glad I was on YT when all this went down, cause I can honestly say I have made more great friends on here....:) |
thank you everyone, she does look alot better already, and after my groomer gets done with her face, she should look 100% better, now we just need to work on her medical issues..... |
