I know what you mean...I am so glad that my husband is working all day and is not here when the fed ex man comes...lol. |
My daughter who is 17 also complains that Hannah gets more stuff than she does...:p . She also complains that she never gets to use the computer anymore because I am on yorkietalk. |
lol, I do the same!! Thank goodness for my own credit card too! Yes, baby must look good! OR their well dressed friends will laugh at them lol. |
When I order new clothes for Bengi, my hubby is like "you're nuts" but then when I put them on him he goes "awwwww, he sooo cuteeee...!!!!!" |
Ohhhhh I am sooo the same way!!!! I have been buying clothes, harnesses, stroller, carrier, just WHATEVER I see that is cute and I have to have I get it......Luckly I get the mail before my husband does and I tuck them away...then we Bailey comes running out full speed with his new outfit to show daddy......he's like where did you get that from, I'm like YT it was only 5.00 LOL (everything Bailey puts on I say it was SUPER CHEAP even if I bought it from a website and it was like 30.00, I say well it was only 5.00 from a YT memeber LOL) Bailey seriously has all kinds of stuff! I NEED A JOB!!! Don't know how long I am going to be splurging on my husband pockets without him actually knowing!! LOL |
You do have a job- Maintaing the household, therefore, you have earned the right to spoil your babies. I think our hubbies really get a kick out of it even though they tell us we are nuts because I caught my DH telling other people about me getting the dogs married and getting a cigar for Rudy after his first liter was born. It was so cute, I dressed him in his wedding tux and presented him with his new daddy cigar after the birth of his four little girls. And now he has the cutest fishing jacket and hat that I got at Target. I dress them up to go to the Vet and my vet got such a kick out of it that he had some other clients wait while he took a pic of them. And he put up a bulletin bored in his waiting room to post them on for others to see. |
Too funny!!!.......:D My daughter and I go to pick out our little fur baby tomorrow.....so excited!!! She is already buying clothes for the pup and we haven't even picked one out yet......now that is addiction! |
I don't hide the things that I buy but I do tell my husband that I used "My" money to buy them. Then I wink and say "Remember...What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine!" It is a little joke we said when we got married. I try not to go too overboard though. I did buy some clothes and a dog stroller etc. My little girl doesn't care for the clothes either but she is getting used to them. |
Isn't it FUN! :D I like shopping for my furbaby WAY more than I like shopping for myself - and a year ago, I would have NEVER thought I'd be saying that because I am a BIG shopper lol - and I used to (ok I still do, just not as much!) LOVE shopping for me myself and I :p :p :p lol These little ones are just TOO much fun though! ;) P.S.- Your hubby won't be the first to kill you when he finds out how much money you've spent - hehehe. Getting your own credit card might not be such a bad idea :p :p :p |
Yes, shopping for the fur girls is more rewarding than shopping for myself. They have so much, mainly because my husband loves buying them things too. :) |
Since Abbie came into our lives, I've been dubbed his "mail order bride" :p |
:D I'm guilty of doing the same thing! My kids are starting the "why does Allie always get everything" thing lol What our dh's don't know wont hurt them. right?! |
My DH has no how much I even spent on each of my 6 Yorkies when I bought them let alone all the clothes, toys, car seats etc. If he new I would be Yorkieless and rich !!!! My last Yorkie (Carson)my most expensive Yorkie before I showed my DH all his papers etc, I crossed out how much I really paid for him and made him half price !!!! |
