He was very cute but never know he may have some mental problem if he is coming from puppymill.... I'm sure there is a reason you didn't end up with Ford. I also thank you for supporting the rescue puppies. People like you give a good life for those who deserve the most. I was lucky enough to find a good breeder with healthy puppy and I am very happy and blessed. If you are still interested in new puppy with good quality, then you should look for a real breeder where you can see both parents, but it is just my opinion. |
OMG!! He is adorable!! I say a KEEPER!! I LOVE those short little legs. My little Ginger (now gone) had those short little legs and I LOVED them. Mari has legs that are too long. I would prefer the shorter, but the clothes do fit Mari better because of it. Keep him he is perfect!! :D |
glad and sad to hear that Ford was taken. glad you didn't have to go thru the heartache of future health problems that he probably will have and sad that someone else will, and that once again puppymills and brokers were supported. :( |

Jrsygal37, in your first post you said you wanted a quality yorkie that was closer to the standard than your rescue yorkies, well I completely understand your plight. We have a rescue and one from a byb of not so great quality, but like yours both are loved beyond belief! We just wanted a quality yorkie closer to the standard from a good reputable breeder and thanks to a former YT member we got a quality pup from a good breeder with good lines. Besides the obvious difference in appearance there's also a big difference in temperament as well as being easier to train. Good luck in your search! :) |
He's a cutie, I wonder if he fits the description I've read on websites that said short cobby legs?:) I never knew what they meant by that. |
The head just looks sooo big compared to the very short legs. I have not seen that before, personally. I believe you said you werent going through with buying him. I applaud that decision. I recently was in a pet shop (against my better judgement) and right off fell in LOVE with a little tiny chiauhau. I visited him several times and I could just tell he was ill, but the pet store kept lying. Sure enough, they had to seperate him from the other puppies because he was ill. The puppy was very shy at first, but he started recognizing me and one time when I went to check on him he totally kissed me (out of nowhere). There was another time where the employee had the dog and it jumped out his hands at me, thank god I caught him! Anyway, it BROKE my heart, but I knew I could not have him and as much as I wanted him I just had to stop going. The last puppy I got from a breeder ended up being very ill and having problems and I could just not put myself through that again. I will never let myself go into another pet shop. I know they dont come from good breeders and it just ends up in heartbreak.:unlove: |

Thanks for that Kellie, you're sweet, but compare him to Morgan, seriously! I love him to pieces but when we got him I thought he would look like Morgan when he grew up. Shhh, don't tell Bentley I said that! At least Romeo thinks he's hot! :D |
