Dang anyone got a gas mask?? Gizmo has done nothing but sit under my work table all day and fart! He is stinking me out of my own office!!!
I wonder why? He's on the same food as always, no treats... HMMMM:rolleyes: he better stop soon or he's going to be banished from sitting on my feet while I work!!

I think Gizmo and Hallie must be related! Every night she curls up on the couch with me and around 8pm becomes "stinky butt"

Isn't it amazing how something so cute can smell so bad? :)

Last night was the worst. I had given the girls their 1st bully stick. It was awful. Their breath stunk as bad as the other end.

LOL! It MUST be a yorkie thing because mine is the same.......I have blamed it on my hubby before and I just never believed him.............well, I soon found out it was Bobbi :eek:

LOL. I also blamed my husband last night. Abbie was laying in my lap and my husband walked by me just about the time it hit. Whewwwwwweeee! We are in the process of trying to find a food that she likes so I've been experimenting. It has really given her gas.

I have read from a book that ascorbic acids in some kibbles (depending on the brand of kibbles) can cause gassy tummy.

lol, this is so funny! Lately I haven't had this problem with Bengi; but a couple of months ago he was sooooo stinky! We were sitting on the couch Bengi, hubby and me and the suddenly..... what that's smell????!!!!! Hubby and I looked at each other and then looked at Bengi at the same time, that little stinky butt!!!!!!!!

I sympathize, but giggle at your expense. :D

I've been wondering if it's related to food storage or age of food because we've been feeding Kirkland and doing great on it, but now the kibble is getting old (it's stored in a Rubbermaid bin with sealing lid. I bought too big of a bag because I thought we'd have our Greyhound by now) and it's gas every night! Horrible gas! Terribly funny, but just gross. LOL So I'm wondering if it's the food stroage or age. Anyone else have any input as to cause?

My kids haven't had this problem but I have another issue that I need your help with and was unable to PM you because you have too many friends and your mailbox is full.

This is the diaper that you made for me and Gizmo. Rudy doesn't seem to like it. Have you ever thought of making one that can fasten or is attached to the harness so that it is Rudy proof. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it might be how one digests differently than the other. Cooper and Carley eat exactly the same thing and Carley is the biggest stinkiest farter ever!! If Cooper has ever had the stinky farts he went off and did them quietly somewhere else, but Carley...she is the fart Queen!! She also likes to save them up for inside the car...can't roll down those windows fast enough:p

Eddie doesn't stink. No idea why not. He gets doggie treats with fish in them and his food bowl (nutro) is out all the time. My wife says Jack can be stinky but I've never noticed (I thought it was me!)

Could it be anal glands needing to be expressed? Or exercise. My guys go for daily walks.

Of course, as soon as I give you advice, they will both start. So I'll stop and count my blessings.

I haven't had this problem yet lol but my mom did feed her yorkie Boo spagetti once and she said she couldn't even be in the same room with him he stunk so bad lol

LOL! Fifty degrees? My dogs would need an ice bath after exercising at 50!

Ummmm.....I am lucky I guess, because Mojo hasn't had this problem. (the smelly kind). We don't do anything special - just his healthy food, healthy treats and the occassional boiled chicken or cheese. I know he has gas sometimes, but it is nothing.

NOW.....the big dogs........whew! They will run you out of the house! They get comfy in front of the fire and that is all it takes! Then, their mean ol dad makes them go outside!

When we went away for Christmas we let a friend of ours babysit Ferdie... when we got back, he had the WORST gas for like a week. I don't know what caused it - maybe some treats they gave him. But it would literally make us gag. I was like, how in the heck does such a huge stench come out of something so small???

:eyetearss thats so funny, maan sometimes Poli has them :tongue036 and my two walk every day too in the middle 20's and love it, just not as long as normaly. Usualy its me that wimps out !
